Schimitar.... you always use bad language... why is this so ?Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View PostStrict Laws does not mean suicide bombing and killing innocent people Beghairat Jahil sahib.
Have you institutionalise these words for yourself or these are a part of your nature ?
I tried to make you understand so many times not to use such words though you are considered to be the scholar of Islam teachings but it seems you are addicted to this addiction.
Suicide bombing is not a punishment lol. Are you OK ?
It has got nothing with Islam... it is only done for taking the revenge... but you are changing the topic... please stick to the topic and don't use bad words ok.

You being a male does not mean you got a licence to use abusing words for others ??? You are contradicting your own viewpoint lol.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdge View PostJahil Khan why do you keep trying to divert focus ? are you that incapable of facing he truth that you whine about language?
Aren't you a man? stop whining like a sissy then.

If I tell you something good about Islamic teachings it does not mean whinning like a sissy ...
I have never supported criminals or crimes... I am just telling you that in a normal society no one can accept a crime or violence, it happens in every society, the ways in which it happens can be different but happens in every society... Now the question is who stops these crimes... Me ? You ? no
It is the responsible people who use force to stop such crimes.
If there is good governance in any society that society would be called a peaceful society...
In Pakistan there is no good governance, no justice.... thats why the ratio of such crimes is high...
In Uk for example... It is not something like the people are so good but it is the law which is implemented so strictly that one thinks one hundred time before comitting any crime though it is called the most educated society.
But still there one can't go out of their house in the night time, otherwise he is robbed or beaten lol.
One can not leave his house open just for 10 minutes, means there is so much insecurity in such an educated most advanced societies... it is only the implementation of laws which have controled the whole situation otherwise these westerners are worst thatn us.

You support suicide bombers and extremists who murder and rape and yet you feel you're entitled to gentle treatment.
the reason why Pakistan has such problems if because misogynists like yourself make life unsafe for women.

Thank you alchemist, you are making a lot of sense and you are demonstrating a balanced view. As a western woman, what I value most, apart from my four wonderful children and five adorable grandchildren, are my independence and the freedom to live my life as I choose.Originally posted by Alchemist View PostIt is all about the 'heart'...
I see Afghan immigrants as the worst when it comes to having relationships. But these white people...say what you want of their manner of dress and their life style, but at the very least, the majority have the ability to be in a relationship and even the desire to be in one, when it is not even made compulsory on them. More of the so called 'secularists' are willing to be in a monogomous relationship, or even an open relationship of some sort with honesty at the core ...but just 20 minutes ago on Afghan satellite television, an afghan woman was telling the host of a television program how she was married to a man 40 years her elder at the tender age of 15! And she wasn't even the first, or the second, or the third, but the fourth wife. And he had come for her hand from Germany..and he had children from his previous wives...and he had wives even after. At the age of 70 he married another girl of 14. So really, it is ignorance that drives people to follow their own whims and do as they please. It isn't so much the age difference, but the deceit and lies he told to get what he wanted. At least with these westerners...they know what they are getting into, both sides.
If you want to go to the ideal model of Islam, divorce is not a stigma. A woman has the right to divorce her husband if he doesn't fulfil her needs. Khadija he wife of the holy prophet peace be upon him, was widowed twice, and his other subsequent wives were divorcees and widows as well. And it was common for the heirs of deen to divorce their women if they were not pleased with them. Recognizing this aspect of marriage will be what will empower women. By making divorce a stigma, women become powerless and religion fatalistic. Marriage is a social contract, and like any other contract it should be respected and treated seriously. But the simple minded people of our communities, especially muslims now, treat it as a formality and feel more bound by social perceptions. People spend more time assessing the house and the car that they would buy, then the spouse that they would choose to live with. If the same level of scrutiny and analysis was given by the parties involved, there would hardly be any divorces....but most treat marriage as a given...that merely binding a man and a woman, their fates will be intertwined miraculously. At least the secularists understand that marriage is a commitment that asks for a great deal of them... but not the simple folks who think that a sufi's blessing is all that is needed.
With two failed marriage behind me, I made the choice of remaining single and to concentrate my energy and focus on creating wealth. This is so much easier and a lot more productive than dealing with some irrational man and his insecurities.
Of course, my two sons do not fall into the category of irrational and insecure men, they are both absolutely adorable and I would go to the end of the world for them.
You say that westerners know what they are getting into, actually, no we don't. This is one reason why a lot of couples live together before getting married, but even if they do, a lot of relationships tend to change after the wedding. I lived with both my husbands for several months before marriage, it was quite scandalous back in 1970, but commonplace in 1990.
Divorce was stigmatised in the west as well until not all that long ago. When I grew up in Europe, it was very rare to hear of people getting divorced, I don't think I knew of anybody who got divorced, no matter how unhappy their marriage was. It was not economically feasible or socially acceptable to get divorced. This was before the women's liberation movement swept across the western world and women began, for the first time in history, to assert their status and demand equal rights.

I'm afraid I do not see the connection between chauvinism and human evolution, except that there are many humans that are chauvinists.Originally posted by ScimitarXEdgeI prefer misogynist because chauvanism has roots in human evolution, misogyny doesn't
But of course, I have no argument with the use of the word mysogyny.
Do you have any idea how we can eradicate it from the face of the earth? As a dyed-in-the-wool feminist, I have a keen interest to see women, regardless of where they live in the world, to be treated with the respect they deserve, and as equals to men.

Do you hear that?
She is making hyperbolic arguments like " you are pakistani therefore you support suicide bombings and therefore you are a rapist" ..appealing to your emotions by posting disturbing images and make wild and unsupported speculations like "pakistani women suffer more than western women"...and then exonerates his own male-chauvinism by taking a stand against misogyny...bravoooo....dumbass.

No, human nature is intrinsically aggressive; I guess the best way to undo the the constructs of civilization is to undo civilization itself because everything that humans conceive of as the measure of equity is paradoxically also the mechanism that fosters inequity. The roots of chauvanism in Evolution had to do with simple biology and division of labor between genders.
by the way women are not equal to men; and it is probably not beneficial to treat women equal to men, male-female equality is never good for society; but similarly the negative consequences or gross injustices like what happens in pakistan or saudi arabia, where women have practically no say over their destiny or Europe where women are dysfunctionally self destructive should probably be curtailed.
