    ^ Agreed, in my college many students newly arrived from Nangarhar and Laghman and I must say that they are most well mannered and decent Afghans I have seen in Europe.

    @Feroza
    And even worse than that is that many Pukhtoons look down upon a woman whose relationship has failed, while most of the time it's not even their fault. They are being taunted at and no Pukhtana lets her son marry her, especially during Mujahideen era a lot of Pukhtoon men (and non-Pukhtoons) left their wives at their destiny in Afghanistan. And they ended up marrying a Russian in Russia who is not only ridiculously arrogant (and ugly), but also much older than the man and has married at least once before. It just makes my blood boil seeing those men rejecting a widow from Afghanistan, but accept a divorcee (God knows how many times divorced) from Russia as not only their wives but also as their masters!

        ^ By Pukhtoons I meant both men and women, and if you seriously claim this is not the case in Afghanistan then I don't know what to tell you. Just look at the life those women who are left by their husbands live, majority of them are used like proper donkeys. And even Pukhtoon don't want to marry them because 'someone else had their hands on her before'. You will see many Pukhtoons bring up excuses like in Islam a man can marry four times to make their sons remarry, but they completely forget about Islam when you tell them that even a woman is allowed to marry three times if she has had a divorce or is widowed. This is bitter truth my dear.
