Most Pakhtoons are tribal. So this still exists. Only in the west it does not due to modernization.

Village is better than city..

same here .. i love to stay and enjoy life in village rather than staying in city where no one cares for others ..

many pashtun have left their villages under special circumstances, job, education, security. since i left my village i have been always looking for a small town or suburban areas, cannt stay in a big city.

yeah i agree ..but can i ask that you found all importance that were given to u in ur born village ?? new ppls ..new society .. isn't very hard to choose a new place to live in??

Its sad but year by year pakhtun culture is going, i've seen many mixed pakhtun kids in my town they are like oh my dads pathan and my moms raja..they are near enough pakis now...many pakhtuns went into punjab and lost their identity. I am one of them, why don't they get it into their stupid thick litttle heads that this will lead to pakhtuns culture dying..In my case as far as i'm concerned i'm punjo now.....

i agree with ppl who supports education.education is the key for life,that i mean by religious former education and ect..we pashtoons love our country.the only thing we do now is sacrefice..why why why why..we are not as they say, pashtoons given berth and sacrifing for others,,dnt let you child brother sister be un educated..my belive is the only way we will win is hold tight hands with each other and follow education and way of islam to reach the rest of the world.may allah bless Afghanistan and its great ppl.wsalam

How can our Society be a Society when we are so disunited. We are not even a Society as each of us have our own Society and own Watan.

Once we become a People and have a identity, then one can say this is Pashtun society.
