in the West they will be in class with mix sex so they will be with Black people, paakis, Africas etc so you need to teach them their culture, religion because if you let do whatever they want then it could damage them big time.
I know paakis that married jamacains, Sikhs etc, So thats why I will look after the females in my family...I will just leave my daughters in my village to be honest.
Pashtoonpaal haleka da khabera da reshtya! You speak the truth, well said grana. Never let your pashtunwalee break!

Qrratugai, how much sense does that make? We have a right to correct them when they are wrong. It's for the exact same reason 1 out of every 2 marriages in the USA is a divorce.
There's a huuuuuge difference between "educating" people about what's wrong and right and *demanding* them to do something you want them to do.

Compare the views of females here to the views of males. Don't you see what's going on? What are the females saying and what are the males saying? Survey it.

My point is: Communicate with the females of your families because we see things differently, and there are going to be differences between what you think is right and what we think is right. The proper and decent thing would be to communicate with us while we communicate with you. Is that too much to ask?

And what on earth makes you guys think that you're always right? That only men know what's right and what's wrong? Why do we LOVE to speak for other people and make decisions *for* other people?

Note to those who don't know what "Naqis ul aqal" means:

It means that women lack intellect. Of course, there's no evidence for this, and we know that scientifically this is untrue. But men who themselves lack intellect like to say this to make themselves feel good, thinking they're naturally more intelligent than women. Really sad, yeah?

No (if u r in homeland). you have to master kung fu to fight powerful and brawny male wolves in society.

also i think pashtun males are over-protective and jealously gaurd their women.

Aaoo kaana Just recently my pashtun friend told me that his mirpuri friend said "he had pashtun girlfriend and he spend one night with her and then left her", its a big problem now because pashtun people born and risen in the west need to be tought about Pashtun cultue and Islam or else they will end up like the girls in the west.
I will never let my daughters have boyfriends etc, Taking them to their country once a year is really good for them to learn their culture and religion.

Qrratugai We are not treating women bad but we just want to protect them from behaya stuff like Boyfriends, wearing the wrong clothes and doing wrong things etc.
I have witness alot of bad things with muslim women in this country and I blame their parents for their behaya Behavior.
I have alot of Respect for our women and I will do anything to protect them from these behaya stuff and keep them happy.

Pashtun Culture and religion Zindabad and who ever is going against it may Allah help them.

^ My dear brother Master khana, we have a VERY different understanding of what's right and what's wrong, how you should teach people what's wrong and right, and what protection actually means. I don't think you understand this point, so, really, there's no point in talking about it. BUT just know that women don't always see things the way you do and that women have their own brain to use, just like you do. They have the ability to speak FOR themselves, so don't speak for them; let them talk to you and tell you how they feel, k? And also know that women themselves don't want bad things either :| I mean, do you think women WANT to be treated badly? No, of course not. It's just that you seem to wanna use force, and I am completely against force.

Khair, maybe you'll understand as you grow older, wrora

I second that mastera..there is a difference between keeping discipline with family and complete lockdown. Fair enough women and girls like to have their freedom but not to the point where they are allowed to do what they like which lead to harram. Don't get me wrong boys can go down the wrong route too. With girls its just THAT much harder because 1 mistake can scar them for life. If you don't tell somebody from right to wrong then whats the difference between us as muslims and pakhtuns to the non-muslims eh?
