It would appear you're approaching the moribund as is your repetitive kindergarden wit (or lack of it). Though the handicapped vs champion boxer did perk my humour (it would be more handicapped vs comatozed boxer).Originally posted by Alchemist View PostSo what is wrong with road runner?
I don't wish to argue with this idiot anymore.
Clearly he is trying to bring me down to his level and then beat me at what he is best at - being an idiot.
I can't even make sense of his retarded postings. For example, what does the phrase " obey what they believe" mean? How do you obey what you believe? I mean your beliefs aren't autonomous beings that issue commands for you to obey them. So how does your beliefs compel you to obey them when you hold them to be true? Does this mean that you don't do the right thing even though you believe it is the right thing to do?
I can excuse his poor grasp of the english language but what irks me about him is that he defies the rules of logic so brazenly and then goes about telling others they have flawed arguments and lack logic. It's like watching a handicap taunt a champion boxer...all you can do is shake your head at them and feel sorry for them.
Yes, let'sLet's examine his one assertion here
That's 2 assertions, genius.a) I fundamentally believe that people should be free to do what they want to do.
b) you can't fundamentally believe in something dogmatically and then obey that belief.
I never said b) also. I don't think you understand what you typed here either.
Load ofOur genius friend digs his own grave and then buries himself in it. What am I to do but to just point it out to him? He is stupid enough to do it..so even if I did break it down and explain to him that a contradicts b he still won't understand it.
like 90% of what's in your other posts.
At least understand what the other person is trying to drill through your skull. Why can't he just be smart enough to realize that his belief is also dogmatic but he doesn't follow his own belief because he is coming here and telling people that they should not be fundamentalist or should allow their women to work as strippers and date around like hookers and that I should beat my sister and lock her up. In simple language, this is called hypocrisy.
If one has belief that everyone that doesn't believe like them is a deviant and should subscribe to their beliefs, then they are fundamentalist.
If one believes in the fundamental principle that others can believe what they want then they are not fundamentalist. Why? Because they are not imposing their rigid beliefs on others.
Fundamentalists usually have their opinions in black and white. Like your belief that everyone is a stripper unless they believe like you. That is quite offensive to non fundamentalists, but usually non fundamentalists are tolerant and not like fundamentalists.
Amusing the way YOU assume that you're right, and everyone else needs your guiding hand. When you say one thing but do something else, you are just putting on a show for people. You know that the majority of the people that use the internet are young and they like the mtv lifestyle...they have the same dreams as the new pop songs on afghan satellite station...shinny disco balls and champagne bottles. Little does he know that what he is advocating for is actually a part of the brainwashing that he has been subjected to since birth by the media. "It's my life and I'll do what I want to" is an old song lyric from since the 60's and it resonates with the rebellious adolescents who want to leave the nest of their parents and becoming their own. The problem comes along that such boys never turn to men and are forever trapped in "neverland" where they will always remain peter pan...and people like me who will try to bring them back to reality will be captain hook.
I think you should shove your guiding fundamentalist hand up your anus.
I feel great the way I am. If you had a life, you'd feel that way too!!

ok well, to get this back on topic. I was actually thinking about this lately since one of my old friends just got married (shes indian and hes egyptian) and I also just got engaged (Thanks).
I mean I totally respect everyones culture and religion and all that but as far as marrying someone from a diff culture...
1) I dont think my parents would really like it
2) I have always been in love with the idea of a pushtun like ever since I was little and I dont think I ever even thought about getting married to a different culture- even if he was a punjabi (for instance). I think that it would just be to hard trying to keep both of the cultures going- and then add in the American to. So that kid would be really confused lol.

I think quite a few are Indians, or of Indian ethnicity.Originally posted by TimbaktuThe confusion is the product of lack of education and knowledge about ones own history. Some are isrealites here, while some are Arabs and descendents of prophet mohammad (Saw), some are persians and some are indians
this is what happens when others tell you who you are.
I don't follow what you mean though.

hehehe hahahah. I give up. I really do give up. It must be a Pashtun Nationalist thing, a kiddie thing, or some sort of pseudo-Indian thing.Originally posted by TimbaktuI don't know what you mean indian ethnicity since indian iteself is quite diverse and its only the hindu religion which brings india together. India is quite vast and different langauges are spoken there. Do you think Tamils and sikhs are the same?
Its though quite possible that pashtuns and north indians share the same roots. The only good evidence we have is language and that shows that pashto is Iranic language whilst north indian languages are Indo-Aryan and south Indian are Dravidian languages.
pashtuns are not one homogenous group. I think many tribes were assimilated who accepted the pashtun way of life and language so its quite possible that pashtuns are from diverse backgrounds. There is no such thing as a pure ethnicity.
I'm sure Pashtuns aren't this clueless in real life.

what a troll.
if you actually study his posts, you can see that he really hates himself because everything he says about others is actually true about him.
He is the fundamentalist since he only knows what's clear as black and white ...and all the rest of us is lost and confused. His whole argument since he joined this forum has been the same ... screw ur beliefs...i hate islam...let's go party like rockstars.
pathetic.

I can't see it as being something unique.
I dont understand what there is to be confused about. Also, i was not trying to be unique. I was just trying to talk about what this thread is actually about.
