@pekhawar,
I would never marry a non-Pashtun.I would rather stay single than to marry a non-pashtun.Not that I hate people of other races, but there are many things that I absolutely adore in our Pashtuns men. I am my baba's loor.My gallant knight could be a Pashtun only in baggy trousers like my plar to my adee
Would you ever consider marrying a Non-Pashtun? I saw your previous posts already but why?

I wouldn't mind pashtun men marrying non-pashtun because she will be living with your family and in your house, she will learn and adpt your culture, langauge and religion.
This Question is as frequent in my Nation , and has been often theme of discussions .
I think generally i is important to conserve the respect to your roots in your child , a child shouldn't stay with a problem of identification and should continue his culture , specially in todays so difficult time of globalization.
For this reason if you marry a foreigner you should think about not making loose a child his roots . the first point of a marriage is Harmony - between both , but everyone is aswell responsible for his nation , and to create a traditional Pashtoon , Armenian , or who ever family is a sign of respect to our Roots I think (so for me it is not a tabu but a important to consider these points)

I would obviously initially have to think about it because it's not something that happens everyday but I would never come in the way if the man is decent.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".
"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".
sad to see that such racist bigoted views exist as abubaker mentioned.... ( I mean the ones he is talking abt) he obviously doesnt subscribe 2 such views!
I think i will just start explaining to her that based on my experience it is best to marry someone from your own backgrounds. the more similarities you have with each other, the more chances of a successful marriage. marriage is no child's game, i would tell my daughter that she is not just marrying the guy, but also his culture, his background, his family and his upbringing. she might have to live with the guy's parents, but even if she doesn't live together with him, she can never be away from his family and friends. their culture, and way of life might be completely different than hers.. and she might not be able to adjust. he might force her to live according to his culture and adapt to his way of life and she might not be able to do so...
if you fail to understand his culture you might have problems in daily life dealing with his family... u might make mistakes without even being aware of it... you might have to work extra hard to please his family and him... and he might have to do the same with your family... since he is not aware of our culture...
