But it is sad fact that Pashtuns have been severely decultured in Pakistan in a well organized way.

By decultured I mean being alienated from ones culture.

You said something like 'dont turn it into that'.. i thought you meant why turn it into another debate, so i deleted my question to khyaal to prevent another long ass argument and people going tit for tat, so i said you delete your post because it included a quote from the post i am going to delete, so, if you delete yours and i delete mine then there wont be long ass debate on who is more cultured. you get it now?

                      good share!

I just wish someone would make a whole documentary type thing about pashtuns. Like bbc, pbs, or national geographic. Do you guys know of any?

Let's not bullsh*t; ever since the the 1920's or so most afghan culture has been "alienated" thanks to our leaders who either look to America or Russia for hegemonic domination or latch on to absurd radicalism paid and manufactured in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan or Iran

The deculturalization is as prominent in afghanistan as it is amongst the Khyber Pakhtunkhwah peoples.

Honestly; was Amanullah Khan letting European men put their lips on his wife "Afghan" culture?!?!?!?! Was the Taliban banning people from Attan and beating people for such very minor issues like listening to music "Afghan", heck it's not even Islamic.

This is what I don't like about being Afghan, we have too many folks who are deluded into believing we have retained some puritan heritage of Afghan identity, when at the same time we claim Mawlana Rumi was Afghan, LOL

exactly; what's Pakhtun about Habib Qaderi, Ehsan Aman or even Naghma and Mangal other than they sing in the language?
