I have to admit this stuff still sounds cool to me , but just don't care for the subculture.

america is only for money and education
no one here really gives a damn about this place, and no one could care less
I could leave in a heartbeat, and not care. Lets say if China was taking over, I would hop on the next boat to somewhere else
There are no people that wave the flag here except trailer park trash.
Ask an Italian-American, where he is from- he will say Italy, Ask a Chinese-American, he will say China.
You all know this.Last edited by Guest; 01-07-2011, 07:53 PM.

BarakzaiAbdali,
I think you would faint if you visit the local Afghan/Pashtun diaspora here in New York.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Seriously the whole Fremont crowd and the NYC crowd are getting out of hand, lol. Thank goodness I was raised in isolation, otherwise I might have also been obssessed with listening to DMX to pump myself up for a basketball game. I take it you are not a country fan either?"2 crackheads don't become any better or stronger by sharing the same crack pipe." - Greatest PF quote

It's the culture. I don't know much about the Fremont crowd, but the NYC crowd has it's ups and downs. Country music? I'll take a polite no comment. I'm not really big on music but at the same time, Hip hop plays a crucial role when growing up in NY. Hell, there was this Kandahari rapper who almost made it! He even had a rap song with Cassidy.Originally posted by BarakzaiAbdali View PostSeriously the whole Fremont crowd and the NYC crowd are getting out of hand, lol.
