I think you are under some spell of uncontrolable emotions,DZJ!
This has been a hot issue on all Pashtun/ Afghan sites and many notable and men of compromise like Abdul Bari Jehani have voiced their blatant condemnation to banning benawa. You know benawa is a popular and responsible website raising Pashtuns' voice. People like Makhdoom Raheen and Faheem could not tolerate it. They suddenly grabbed an opportunity to have an excuse to quell the voice of tha Pashtuns. If you don't know the nefarious desins of poeple like Raheen and Faheem, then you are, either the most ignorant person or a great pretender.

^ If Pukhtoon politicians ain't man enough to voice their opinion in real life, what on earth do you think a website-user can do to raise his voice all around the country? You and I are an example of people who want all kind of things and shout out every king of thing, but could we ever gather the guts to utter those same words in real life as well? We need real life action, not same e-action. Even some Tajiks felt like their 'voice' was being oppressed when Persian websites got banned, but I can't remember they moan like they way you want us to? Now don't tell me you don't!

        Problem: Race !

        Solution: We !

It can be that easy. Yes, We must stop identifying ourselves as Pashtuns and Tajiks. We should be we.
Who suffers ? Only we.Of course not we who are out Afghanistan. But we who are inside.
Creating a political party based on race. A website based on race is a disaster for the nation. They should be banned. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of propaganda.

Instead of Pashtunforums.com We should make pashtoforums.com or Dariforums.com or dari-pashtoforums.com or pashto-dari-forums.com(
I have to write once dari at the beginning and pashto.Otherwise someone will come and say oh you are a Tajik racist.) It may help others learn pashto and dari. they are still unregister. Can you believe it? And it is sad. And it costs only 12 $.

PS. To make pashtunsforums.com a better forum, we should first make this Ijaz yousafzai understand, that we all Afghans are we. If he doesn't stop his miserable mission. He should be banned.
We will be one step forwards to unity.

Pashtuns are known to carry their Pashtun flag, even in the Heaven. Hamza Baba says,
Hamza safar ka da Hijaz vee nu hum
Za da Pashtun da Qafilo sara zam ,
Ghani Khan even prefers to leave " Jannat" for Pashtuns, he says
Pa wallah che da Janata ba sham stoon
Che kanzal pake waw na ram da Pakhtoon
It is the hidden agenda of the vested interests in Afghanistan to alienate the Pashtuns of Afghanistan from their divided brothers in Pashtunkhwa and to maintain the status quo in their favour in Afghanistan. The Pashtuns on both sides of the Durand know that they are the real stake holders and partners in the long term and therefore people like you are bent upon to dilute the fervour of Pashtunism among them. Your misleading theory, " we should be we", is an exponent of the same urge. In Pashto it is said ( you can get a translator, if you wish) , that
" woba pa daang na byalegi". The conspiracies of people like you ( sane Pashtun background), can not sow the seeds of division in Lar ao Bar Pashtuns. Pashtuns will remain Pashtuns , even in the Heaven. You know little, mr. ecentric, that we Pashtuns hold our identity very dear to us. When we swear to be truthful, we say, " Che Pashtun ba na yam ka -----"
' as a popular Pashtun poet ( Ajmal Khattak) says,
Ka da maraam dagha manzal ta rasedale na yam
Malgaro wawrai Pukhtane ba zaigawale na yam

Ijaz Yousafzai does not need to be your pupil, nor he needs your tution to understand your hotch potch theories.Afghan means Pashtun, and you certainly need a mirror to look into. I am confident that a true Pashtun in Afghanistan would not prefer you on me, they say in English that ," blood is thicker than water. My mission is to say a spade a spade. My goal is Lar ao Bar Pashtun unity and Pashtun sovereignty as conducted by our forefathers. My glorious history, always kindles my vision and leads me to my national goal. I don't believe in some stupid compromises with the people who are hypocrites and not sincere to the Pashtuns at large. ~ and look mr. ecentric, watch your mouth. This is PashtunForum and my own House, you are nobody to get in my way in my own House.

A poet can say anything. It doesn't mean it can be Qur'anic verse.
            Hafiz Shiraz says

اگر آن ترک شیرازی بدست آرد دل ما را

به خال هندویش بخشم سمرقند و بخارا را

It doesn't he could give her Samarqand and Bukhara.

I am not against any unity , Pashtun unity or whatever. I am against your miserable, emotional and illogical Mission,"mission impossible".I believe most of Pashtuns in Afghanistan are against you. I challenge you here in this forum, that most of Pashtuns are on my side. status quo is just your stupid excuse. Before suggesting me a mirror. Just think about your own thoughts and actions. You don't want peace in AFghanistan. That is it.

I don't accept you as my pupil. It would be a great headache for me. lol

I can understand those poems you wrote. But I can't understand if it is in pashto Alphabets.
If you like poems. I suggest Mathnawie of Maulana. Or Sa'ad's Gulistan and Bostan. I am sure you will enjoy it.

May the greatness of Maulana and Saadi change your mind.
If it didn't , then there will be change to be my pupil.

P.S. I don't need any Pashto translator. I lived in peshawar for 10 years. I can speak pashto. I can't read and write pashto, thought I was in Warsak Model School & College. Poeple in peshawar don't have any pashto subject in school. And you able yourself as Pashtun.

Mr eccentric or Parsiban or whatever eccentric creature you are, I hope you don't insult a Pashtun patriot like Ijaz Yousafzai again. He is a Pashtun poet, writer, and social worker who even had a poineering role in the establishment of universities at important Pashtun urban centers.

Your use of indecent language aganist him is therefore absolutely unacceptable at least to us Pashtuns of Pakhtunkhwa. And if you didn't stop your parsiban crusade against Ijaz Yousafzai, we will request the admin to ban you failing which we may ourselves leave this forum in protest.

Rest, his only sin is, he has pointed to the injustace done to some Pashto websites by Parsiban zealots like Makhdum Rahin and Fahim or has espoused Pashtun unity. That has irked you and probably many others who have come here under the guise of Pashtun comradiership to sow the seed of division in Pashtuns taking clue from imperial mechanation of imposing borders on their colonies.

Further, we are not living in a medieval age although every other Farsiban that one comes accross is suffering fom some narcistic nostalgia springing from the medieval Persian Culture and poetry of Maulana, Saadi, etc. and would like to awe others with that. There are far superior works of world art and knowledge for Pashtun youngsters to take inspiration from and to emulate besides the works of our Pashtun poet like Khushal Baba and Rahaman Baba.

Eccentric, there is a certain level of respect that must be present when discussing a topic. I demand you to show respect to our senior members, members of PF aren't just e-warriors but they have actually contributed to real life establishments. Our brother Ijaz Yusufzai resides in Hayatabad and he has struggled to see Pashto successful. We commend him for his efforts as Pashtuns. I expect you to speak to him with respect, give respect and get respect. I hope I don't have to interfere again, insulting him is like insulting me and our community. You have the right to disagree but these insults under disguise will not be tolerated at all. I have hope that you to understand.

Generally speaking, I don't wish to babysit anyone. Im a busy man.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I don't care if he is a good poet or not. There are thousand of poems written on bus of peshawar. Dear sister/brother Toramana you have a brain, which angels bowed down for. That brain is a great gift for you, please try use it. You should be someone of yourself. What have you done for pashto and pashtoon ? That is my question. It is also your responsibility, too. If you have pashtun in pashtoonkhwa, why there is no pashto as a school subject. I had my schools in peshawar. We had to speak Urdu. And all afghans include pashtuns were called Gelam jama, And the Mahajira. You guys should be a pashtun first. And then start joining us. And then vanish our Tajiks and hazara, Usbek and Turkmen, and others.

And I know why you feel that there is Parsiwan crusade. It is partly because of some politician(pashtun and tajik), and partly because of people like Mr. Ijaz yousufzai, who try to scare people, with sentence see what like Tajiks did to pashtuns in afghanistan. Afghanistan is ruled by Tajiks. Pashtuns are slave of Tajiks.
Because of these people Tajiks have to hate pashtuns outside Afghanistan.

                    Don't you witness.
During afghan war there were more Tajiks in Peshawar than in Iran, which is a farsi country, than Tajikistan. It was only because we believed that Pashtunkha is ours. And Pashtuns are our brothers.

By the way it is Rahman Baba, not Rahaman baba.
I know those pashto poets. I am not such narrow mind like you.I don't care if they are pashtuns. They are great poets. You know first Saadis books were translated in pashto by sons of Rahman Baba or Khushal Khan Khatak. I am not sure of that. What I am sure is that we do have more respect for them. We have schools with their names. We named our street and parts of kabul.
you are tell that you are consider them as poet. And we are considering them as our nation heroes.

Rahman Baba high school in Kabul and Mazar Sharif.

Rahman Mina is a part of kabul.

Khushal Khan Mina is another part of kabul.

I think better a good job for pashto by asking you to make a pure pashtoforums.com.
Withhout any political section. And I sure you will get a better result.

And of course he is doing great job for pashto adding topics like this under the pashto language.

What does this thread have to do with Pashto language ?

You are talking of respect. Did you respect me by warning me ? And calling me a baby ?
you are a good admin. Thanks for being a real pashtun. Someone said that pashtunforums is the home of pashtuns. And this how pashtuns treat a gues ? Where is that hospitality pashtuns had ?

                      Dear Eccentric,

Have I ever asked you to refrain from posting your political voice or stance? Have I ever expressed distaste with your presence? Respect and hospitality is embedded in our culture. However, I'll be very frank with you, when we see our seniors being insulted, we don't quite tolerate it or smile. When one witnesses a fellow brother being the subject of insults under disguise(along with some insults) we tend to publicly address the situation. Did I insult you? did I attack you? All I politely asked you and other parties was to show respect to one another. Brother Eccentric, where did I call you a baby? I carefully and specifically said,

Generally speaking, I don't wish to babysit anyone. I'm a busy man.
What I meant by that is we the community of PF should know the basics of a discussion, I shouldn't have to butt in every discussion to remind users that they are crossing the limits. However, do you know what generally speaking means brother? It means I am not speaking directly about anyone. Trust me Eccentric, I am the last person you will see a subliminal from, I am the type if I have something to say, I will say it directly. You are more than welcome here, we embrace you as a brother but please like I said before, give respect and get respect. We have a handful of non-Pashtuns here, we have well respected Parsiwaans, Tajiks, Hazaras, Punjabis, Whites, Hispanics and quite a few ethnic Germans as well. So please, with all due respect, If you misread my post, that's fine, but please know the basics of a discussion, I expect everyone to respect their interlocutor.

If I can be of your assistance, feel free to contact me. No love lost. If someone insults you, the same rules apply. Just PM me. However, when I see our senior member like Ijaz Yusufzai getting insulted, let's just say I get unhappy to say the least. When I get unhappy, I make my presence in the topic. Just like how you respect the seniors of your household, treat our seniors the same way. These aren't your average teenagers.

                      P.S
                      I discriminate equally(Just kidding)
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

Yes, obviously as a Parsiban with the usual evil nature and as someone who has come here with malvalent intentions, you would like accomplished Pashtuns to be belittled and the seed of divisions sown between Pashtuns but we as Pashtuns do care about the retention of fraternal feelings and sense of unity among Pashtuns and acknowledgement of contribution made by our sons and daughters to our language.

Dear sister/brother Toramana you have a brain, which angels bowed down for. That brain is a great gift for you, please try use it. You should be someone of yourself. Stop teaching us with this gibbirish hodge-podge of yours mixed with the proverbial Parsiban crookedness/craftiness to have others swallow the sugar-coated poison. The term Gelam Jama was exclusively used for (some) Parsibanans who had no diginity and self-respect and who were bringing bad name to Afghans through the sprawling "brothal-house" businesses in all major cities in Pakistan and who would emulate the cheapest of the filmi cultures. You were called Gelam Jamma because you were considered lax and loose of character and because you had that self-exposing self-glamourising behavior that characterizes the superficial culture of red-light zones and that is not found even in Gypsies of Europe.

No Pashtun of Pukhtunkhwa ever called a Pashtun of Afghanistan a Gelam Jam.

And I find you people (not all Parsibanans) an extremely ungrateful lot. Why did you come to us and burden us with that ugly existance of yours in Peshawar despite the fact that we have nothing in common with you? Pashtuns of Afghanistan had a right to be there because that was their land but why did you come? And now having your purpose fullfilled from us you are bad-mouthing us. This is the sign of an ignoble people.

The rest of what you have said is plain non-sense to which I would not reply.

                          Dear respectful Mr. Ijaz Yousafzai(Toramana),

I still don't know how I disrepected you. This means it was unintentional, if you see any disrespect from me.
I appologize, if I disrespected your respectful feelings and your character.Because character is given by God.You are Pashtun poet, writer, and social worker. For sake of your greatness please accept my appology.
But I don't appologize, if I disrespected your personality and thoughts. I have reasons for that. Personality can be fake. And Thoughts can be changed. This is what I think. You may disrespect it. I don't care for that.

And of course I will not stop the gibbirish hodge-podge, when I see anything against unity in Afghanistan. And I have nothing against unity of Pashtuns of both side of Durand line.

                          Your brother,

Let alone Pashto as subject, the moment you enter school conversation in Pashto language is instantly banned. Children are severely punished for speaking Pashto in schools. IMO, our focus should be more on the colonized Afghan and the status of Pashto language and Pashtun nation there.

Benawa.com is a mouthpiece of anti afghan elements which has an agenda to to sabotage the present setup and bring back the state of terror and convert afghanistan into Paki colony.

How unfortunate it is that your scholarly insight does not give due value to the fact that in statecraft engineering ,ethics is defined as the courtesy and tolerance shown by the majority to the minorities in a state and that is how Pashtuns and their status in Afghanistan should be looked at. They have to show courtesy towards the language, culture and religions of the minorities in Afghanistan in order to give them a feeling of nationhood [in the political sense of the word].
