There is always the same problem with etymology because there is a difference between two things: what are origins of the word and from what language the word came to another language.
What I found in one dictionary is that Pashto دښمن came from Persian/ Dari دشمن
Taking into account historical and cultural conditions, this explanation seems to be more reasonable than others.

What do you guys think about the origin of the suffix "-waal/waala" (paayo-waala AKA milkman, hattee-waal AKA shop keeper)? It's pretty common in Hindi and could have come from there to Pashto. And in Pashto, besides plural words, the suffix "-waan" has also been used (ex: Hindkowaan).

From what I know وان- is a transformed Persian/ Dari nomina agents suffix بان- which is transformed Iranian suffix پانه- .

When a word comes from language to another, usually it changes its form according phonetic and grammar rules of the new languae (to which it came). In case of words coming from Persian to Pashto, ب is usually changed into و . Like in this suffix or in the Persian word ابریشم "b" also changes to "w" in Pashto ورېښم .

I see all these pure Pashto words not a loan words in any form.
If it comes to the روغتون - I think Morgenstierne suggested that the stem روغ comes from Sanskrit or Avestan. تون - is a Pashto nomina loci suffix.
