    I've heard Wazir and Maseeds say "weeya". Bannuchis say "yeeye".

    Mong leka Masseeds ow Wazirs ze wahye da rakam wahyu because they are our brother tribes and we share more common in language than any other,we too say weeyaa.

          We also share many words with them because they are our neighbours.

          Our Pashto is like a mix of Zabul/Quetta Pashto and Waziri Pashto, with varying degrees of influence from each depending on the proximity of the Paktikawal to either Zabul/Baluchistan or Waziristan. Our dialect is closest to the Pashto of Lakki, Tank, Gandapur and Quetta/Zhob.

            We use it for bat. Lizard is charmashkai is our Pashto.

            I am a Kuchai but Kuchi is not a tribe, there are Kuchis of different tribes.
            Most are Ghilaji, especially from the Kharoti or Ahmadzai subtribes.

            Insha`Allah I will send much money back to watan when I earn enough.

                I say 'moyee'. It does not surprise me that it is Persian derived.

                      Rabbit = khargosh.
                      There is a pure Pashto word as well that we use. I can't remember it now.

                          A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

                          For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

                          The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                              I am Kharoti Urguni from Paktika.

                              Naturally, over 70% of Paktikawals speak "Sheen" Pashto but people from Paktika tend to switch accents all the time, that is why we use many words. We use "maar" more commonly, however. Another word we use is "drumam" for "dzam/dzama" (I go).

                              Muzh/mung/mugh/mug/meeg/meezh = all are used in our "dialect" because it is a mixture of surrounding dialects.

                              Even if you read my posts in Pashto, you will see that I change the dialect depending on who I speak to.
