Brother i can guarantee you that pashtuns in pashtunkhwa do not talk in Urdu with each other, a pashtun here always talks with another pashtun in Pashto langague. Urdu is spoken where it is necessary to speak. Infact it is taken as an insult if you are a pashto speaker and another Pashtun tries to converse with you in urdu instaed of Pashto.Originally posted by shlombayPashto will never get official status. Pakistani Pashtuns are happy with Urdu. Even today I saw two Pashtuns talking in Urdu, I asked them why? They said its easier than Pashto.
My blood boiled..They were from "MARDAAAN"
I dont know pashtuns of what background you have met but generally Pashtuns are very weak in spoken urdu, even they speak english more fluently than urdu. You says that guys were from Mardan and i have observed how much mardanis struggle in speaking urdu fluently.

You have witnessed where, in US?Originally posted by WaziristanLuffy,
Are you sure? Because I have witnessed ehat shlombay has witnessed as well
Ofcourse there are always exceptions, but i am geneally speaking. It depends upon circumstances and location e.g pashtuns permenantly settled in Rawalpindi and Karachi are naturally prone to adopt urdu.

it don't matter witch side of divid they are ,but it's true about Pakhtuns that they drop thier languege quicker then they can speak the adopted one, like 90% of Niazi don't speak Pakhto ,or as soon as a kandahari feet touch Kabul he/she will become atumatically Darizaban ,I feel sorry for Pakhto languege to have such a disloyal speakers no wonder UN identified Pakhto as a languege that will be extinct in couple of decade.,~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Niazi Malgariya, here the Pakistani establishment in to blame. A language cannot develop without state patronage. The Pakistani state imposed Urdu/Hundustani in all public and private spheres of work and business, while depriving the people of education and work in their mother languages. Even now they call Pashto a 'regional' language. Pashto, the language of 60 million Pashtuns is not a regional language. It is a national language in the fullest sense of the word.

^ Who is 'you' guys? Because by far Pukhtoons of Afghanistan didn't mention status of Pukhto in Pakistan like Pakistani Pukhtoons have about Afghanistan. And once again, and for the last time; It's your own Pakhtunkhwa Pukhtoons who are much more worried about status of Pukhto in Pakhtunkhwa. Now stop repeating your words and make me repeat after you, because we have had this discussion before.Gar Jahanum Sakhtam Ferdaws Ham Mesazamat

^ A retard is someone who calls others a retard for a comment that person made but is unable to state why that person is a retard and what type of a retard comment that person has made? In other words; Look in the mirror will ya?
Just go through the entire forum and then try to fool me that it's me trying to dividing Pukhtoons. And if you seriously claim that I can divide Pukhtoons just by making a few comments on some threads, then you must admit we are an extremely weak race by nature and therefore our entire nation should be ashamed of themselves. No wonder some elements have been so successful in dividing us in real life. And next time before even trying to call people by names, remind yourself that others can also return you the favour. Thank you.Gar Jahanum Sakhtam Ferdaws Ham Mesazamat

i asked a question lol "wat are u retarded." ur own quote was all the proof i needed.
yes division exists but i was refering to this forum and ur not helping by always siding with afghanistan by going afghan pukhtun is this n pakistani pukhtun is this. im from jalalabad and lived most of my life in pehkhwar so dnt say that im a pakistani pukhtun n thas y im opposing u. yeah return the favor wateva im not the one going around trying to prove to ppl that afghan pukhtuns are better then pakistani pukhtuns.Last edited by Pukhtoon007; 06-22-2010, 07:21 PM."Remember this revolution is born out of Love For My People not hatred for others"-- Immortal Technique

^ Now when on mother earth did I claim that? Just go to the thread 'Non-Pashtun Marriages' and see for yourself how I put an Afghan national in his place for insulting Pakistanis. And I beg you to read why I gave that reply and to whom it was meant to be before getting loose on me. Even I was born in Pekhawer and my entire family lives in Jalalabad and you have got no idea how many times I had to argue with my own family as they made some ridiculous comments about Pakistanis.
Keep your advice, questions, etcetera to yourself. Especially when you got no idea who you are quoting and what you are quoting that person for.Gar Jahanum Sakhtam Ferdaws Ham Mesazamat

the use of such words implies you disowning them n having nothing to do with them. so yeah i not saying u do it iintentionali but i think we should refrain any such words that make us seem like we are not one people. the reason i got angry is a little petty or maybe not but your a senior member we exept better from you.

^ Once again, read the entire thread for that case. There were people ousting their anger of Afghan nationals for whatever nonsense while they were actually mad at those from Pakhtunkhwa and I just responded them in their language, otherwise even now they wouldn't have stopped commenting. I only talk to people in the language they understand. For me unity of Afghan ethnics is also important but when one ethnic rubbishes the other, I feel the need to point that person out his flaws to make him feel less superior. I can shout 'all Pukhtoons zindabad and all Pukhtoons want an independent Pakhtunistan and we all agree on everything', but I will be only lying to myself. It's a fact there are political differences between Afghan nationals and Pakistani nationals, and if they are being political from an Pakistan point of view then I have to adapt the Afghan point of view. Its' really that simple.Gar Jahanum Sakhtam Ferdaws Ham Mesazamat
