I think declaring Pashto spoken in one city of two million population may not be declared the sweetest or most romantic dialect out of the other dialects spoken by 70 million Pashtuns.
There does not exist any linguistic term like Kandahari Pashto. Other wise we will have to divide Pashto in many ways like Peshwari , jalal abadi, Kabuli, Paktyawal, Quettawal, mardanwal, swatwal, dirwal, bajawarhi, mohmanidi, waziri, khuberi, kohati, bannuwal, marwati, loralaywal, pashinwal, chamanwal, malakandwal, karachiwal, kunarhi, helmandi farahi, etc etc
The most famous categorization of of Pashto dialects bear the name Soft dialect(including the one spoken in Kandahar) and Hard dialect. Some Linguists use the terms Northern (hard) and southern(soft) dialects.
We may just talk of Pashto and may use our own dialect if we wish but may not create an artificial divisions of Pashto based on cities. Pashto is one, pashtuns are one and no dialect is superior to other and no one is sweeter than the other. All are equally good, correct, sweet and romantic.

We
Yarr no one said Pashto is 100 different languages put together. Its just some of the words are used differently, and dialect is a bit different.
