so u are pretty much saying every pashtoon is able to speak perfect pashto? and there is absolutely no need of developing the language any further, or learning the language any further. so u are basically saying u know every pashto word in pashto language...

there is ALOT to learn in pashto, a lot to develop, a lot of words that you and I might not have heard about... a lot of words dispearing because of people like you, who think the everyday-conversational pashto is all that there is to pashto... it is absolutely amazing for me to be explaining this to a self-proclaimed real pashtoon that majority of pashtoons that speak pashto as their first language might not know how to read pashto, or better understand formal pashto.

what do you care about pashto anyway? from your outlook and views expressed on the forum, you would not be considered a pashtana by most people in afghanistan and KP.

its only basic pashto that is taught here..the type of phrases that would be useful for for a foreigner. its not advanced.

The soldiers are not going anywhere, so if they want to learn Pashto then that could be a good start, so they can get to know Pashtuns alot better, and you never know they might start withdrawing.
For your information, like the coward Soviets who were defeated before these US-NATO started their war, they too are going somewhere, and that is out of Afghanistan. Beleive the hype, the withdrawal is real. No need to doubt it now

I didnt automatically call for it to be shut down but at the very least, access to it should be more restricted. And pashtuns wanting to come back to their roots fails to convince me. Pashto is not on high demand with Pashtuns. Most Pashtuns know their mother tongue well.
First and most importantly, let it be made crystal clear to all. The defeat of the US-NATO is in the process of completion as the Soviets were defeated before them. There might be a few who secretly have different ideas.
Qunduz has raised a good point about doing away with the language section. There are several people here who are using it for wicked purposes.

yeah as a matter of fact i am.

i am scientific minded and like to base things on evidence not emotion. your resorting to copping out is leading me to believe you may in fact support the occupation. hence your empty-headed and emotional fit of theatrics witnessed.

and ashraf pay attention to the wickedness displayed by this creature. she abruptly leaves sinisterly bragging about merely looking for some fun to kill time with. truly inspired by the devil. we will continue this battle against the devil and his associates. they can not stop us from speaking out in favor and defense of our poor, weak and oppressed brethren.

If you are worried about the imperialists spreading their agenda then rest assured there are plenty of native pashtun speakers in their ranks who will happily do that job. no need for foreigners to learn pashto.

you raise an interesting point timbaktu. there appears to be a very common misconceptional view regarding the issue of the "wrong" people being caught. for them even what we would consider as the wrong people are the right people because the age-old imperialistic agenda of theirs as well as their kin and ancestors is to terrorize an entire population into submission using techniques of savagery.

the reality that is often not realized is that all pashtuns who do not bow down to their will are legitimate targets, their children are targets, as are their women. in short, the entire community is a target which is why civilians are deliberately murdered daily.

there is no such thing as an innocent or guilty pashtun in this regard. we are all innocent because our struggle is a legitimate one, one for our freedom.

these murderous thugs must no better than to register with names consisting of racial slurs and then abuse the language section to use to intercept our communications and make it easier to conduct their foul mission. whereas on our part, helping them, advertising to them, and giving them such ready access to resources is a sin and act of inconsideration.

Sorry, they are not going anywhere. NATO has been around longer then Soviets too. As we speak all the major bases like Bagram, and Kandahar are expanding, not decreasing.

Interesting enough, that is fine. Being a PF member gives you the right to have an opinion that doesn't breach our rules. You can argue what you claim, but refrain from insulting members. Learn to have think-tank type discussions. The only time you will be stopped is when you open your dictionary and begin reciting every curse word you can find.

these language programs offered all across US are millions of dollars worth contracts that independent contractors get from government to provide such assistance to US military... obviously the government is not going to look at PF as an altnerate option and tell its military personnel to 'go learn pashto from pashtoonforums, its cheaper'... LOLLLLLLLLL...
I agree Gulbabo khor. Singa wakama? Baaz khalag kho pa sama khabara na pohezhey.

                            Qunduz92,

If you had an ounce of common sense, you would have known that there are millions of Pashtuns in Pakistan and in Afghanistan who can't speak Pashto. This forum serves as a hub for Pashtuns to learn about their culture, language and history. And Alhamdulillah, it's serving that purpose. Now if you are going to be insanely paranoid, then may Allah help you. Like I've told you be before, if you assume we are somehow part of this "conspiracy" alt+F4 might be your best friend. Despite you even insulting me, I still view you as my own people. I somehow hope that you can learn for the better. Please be a bit more civil, and refrain from these baseless assumptions. We have the most comprehensive e-Pashto language section in the world, and we take pride in that. Hundreds of members have invested hours in it's advancement, and there is no way we are going to get rid of it because of your assumption. Our section is open to anyone who wants to learn our beautiful language. We have had many members in the past who learned quite a bit from PF. And that is the purpose of this website - learning. Once again, you might have a point to make but your approach is wrong. By accusing innocent people[without factual evidence]your making a circus show once again. You claim you are scientific-minded, yet you don't know the basic rules of Science.

                            Caveat:
Qunduz92, If you are a Muslim, you should know that lying is a serious sin in Islam. I don't like to discuss such things in public, but just cut it off, and stop the lies you are formulating at the expense of our bandwidth.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!
