It is ilogical to compare these two. Fasi/Dari had been the official language of the region. It is culturally, literrally and historically richer than pashto not even comparable.

Thats why Saadi's farsi poem is ON the UN entrance not any pashto poem.

Get over it! Lets get Kabul as an example: out of 20 Private TV stations 19 are in farsi > National Television is 70% farsi and rest Pashto/Uzbek.
Country's most ciculated and famous papers are in farsi (8 sobh daily, Mandegar daily) Kabul weekly. Pashtun see speaking farsi as a sign of modernity. Pashtu schools were created in kabul but NOBODY (pashtuns) bothered to attend those schools lol

Correction. They are proud Pashtuns who sing both in Pashto and Dari. For example Nashnas on your list has a PHD DEGREE IN PASHTO. He is from Kandahar and has sung many patriotic songs in Pashto and for Kandahar.

listen to his 'zma kandahara' youtube it. It goes like zma kandahara da zmaro watana...he pretty much pays tribute to where he is from which is Kandahar.

Yes most of them are PROUD! pashtuns who upon immigrating to the Tajik/Persian city of Kabul adapted its culture and language
