    It get's worse....

It appears that Pakistani Pashtuns are mingling with Punjabis and Urdu speakers more and are becoming Punjabitized or Indianized, or becoming Hindkowans.

Afghan Pashtuns are mingling with Persian speaking Tajiks, Hazaras, Uzbecks and are becoming more Dari Persian or more Khorasani than Afghan, or becoming Farsiwans (not sure about Turks, but Pashtuns have Turkic roots of Nomadic turkic people, like Kyrgyz not sedentary like the Uzbecks).

Is there a more likely chance in the Afghan diaspora, Afghan Pashtuns are more likely to be friends with Hazaras from hazarajat than with Punjabi muslims and/or Pakistani Pashtuns? Especially that many Pashtuns that got developed in Afghanistan through persianization and learned Dari/Tajiki and would share a more common toungue ....
