It would be my pleasure. I'm not really experienced in giving reviews, but I will try lol.

I think The Passage was only Justin Cronin's 3rd or so novel, but it was an incredible read. If any of you like Stephen King's work, then you'll love this book as well. It's not terribly dark or horror filled, but it is still pretty detailed when it comes to that kind of stuff.

It's the first book in a trilogy. The 2nd one is going to be released in 2012, and the final one in 2014. These books span over 1000 years. They follow a girl who was forced to become a test subject for a superhuman (vampire) virus, and how almost the rest of the entire world was destroyed by other, older test subjects.

The author had already sold the rights to the upcoming motion picture based on this novel. So, it has really done pretty well so far.

Well, considering Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings go side by side, J.R. Tolkein is a good one perhaps. Suspense and Science Fiction? I don't know anything in that specific category but my favorite book being Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger.
