نوې کال راغلې،په هر لوري خوشحالي ده
زمونږه بد نصيبـو جــنګ ذپلـــې زندګي ده

دنيا شوه نوې نوې، ارادې ئـي نـوې نـــوې
زمونږ زړه کـيـږدئ او د بـــادارو بندګي ده

دنيا ورته چمتو ده چې ابادې ســـيارې کړي
زمونږ د پښتنو په مقــــــبرو کې ابادي ده

دنيا په عيش و کوش ده معطره و خوشبويه
په مـــونږ را وريدلې د بارودو ګندګي ده

د نوي ګوند مشري ده، د لښکر سالار بدل شو
يو مونږ پکې ازاد نه شو هم هغه غلامي ده

د نن قاضي بدل دے د هر چا حق شي منلې
زمونږ په ايف سي ار کې ئي ليکلې خاموشي ده

د ژمي يخه شپه ده د باران شيبې هم راغلې
خيمه کې مې بيماره مور په کومي د مرګي ده

نن ساه هم په پيسو ده د ژوندون تيرول ګران دي
په دې ګرانه ګرانئ کې بس د وينې ارزاني ده

فيروزه داسې څوک دي چې دا خلق کړي په لاره
د جهل تورې شپو کـــې د ژوند ورکه رڼائي

Peroz Apridi is a great living Pahstun personality. I like his ideas and deeply appreciate his efforts for the promotion of Pashto and creating awareness of peace and stability in Pashtunland. Once he completes his tenure in Qatar, we may sit somewhere in Pashtunland to chalk out some program for the uplift of Pashto and Pashtunwali.
