    Tappa/Landai Competition

    Salaam friends!

    I am going to start a Tappa/Landai/Misra competition here. I know we have a good number of members who love Pashto Tappa and have regularly posted it here like Mayana, Osho, Sheenkay, Angaar,SOM, Afghanlady etc.
    So do participate here;

    Note: The tappa will be posted on a specific topic (tappa must contain the word which is the topic) only which will be changed after regular intervals;

    Topic No;1==Stargey

    Let me start;

        Yousafzai Pakhtun, interesting thread. Maybe you want to define the requirements of the competition in a more precise manner. So to say, you could (for those who don't know) define the differences between tappa, matal, sher (two-liners) and the like, to avoid confusion.

          Dear Mahzala, I have already differentiated these terms in my posts.....kho daa bala khabara daa chey sok ye gooree na......haha

          Anyways :

          Tappa is also known as "Misra". Some people also call it "Landai" as one of its line is shorter/land than the other and this differentiates it from Shair(two liners).

              A tappa/landay consists of two lines:
              the first line has to have 9 syllables,
              the second line has to have 13 syllables and end with a dwastargeh he
