Do you eat only Halal meat?(members in non-Muslim countries)

I've been vegetarian off and on in my life. Most recent was a while ago, around 2011. I was vegie for almost a year.

It's different in North America, because the quality of meat is disgusting, and the animals are treated poorly. For me, reason #1 was quality of meat i.e. hormones, antibiotics, etc. Inhumane treatment was reason #2, but also a very big factor.

I eat it because my size is big, and I just can't eat the quantity of vegetables to make me full. It also tastes good (yes, I know, bad reason).

Overfishing is a problem, but chances are very good that most of the fish you eat in North America are from fish farms to begin with.

Mad cow disease started because they fed cows scrap parts of other dead cows. Not sure if that's relevant to this discussion, but figured I'd throw that in there.

Just wanted to get an idea of how this issue is dealt with in the West.
So far , two other members have made it clear that they avoid non-Halal meat , while you don't.Only three people in total so far though

I avoid haram meat because i aint eating that dirty blood filled ****.
In sweden however its very sad and kinda funny seeing these hijabis go get a beef burger from burger king and **** like that. Really pisses me off tho thinking they are eating that **** while i have to get the ****ty fish/veggie burgers from restaurants cuz rarely are they ever halal.

i have personally met lots of people in the west who say that chicken is halal regardless of how it was butchered and only red meat is haram, do you follow that rule? i dont know where people get this from

I dont do it and dont believe that either cuz in the end its the same kind of dead filthy corpse as ha ram red meat imo. Over here tho poeple dont even do that, they simple eat whatever for some reason.

Did you know cursing and profanity is also haram? You sound like you think less of people who are outwardly Muslim and yet but haram food. But while telling this you use profanity. Which is also haram.
