^not quite... its not really a cake. it tastes a little bit different. it is something that is very popular amongst afghans. i can't spell it correctly in english but its called something like "roath"

almost all afghan stores have it.

Ooh the okra looks delicious! My husband loves okra but not lamb but I assume I can make it just the same with beef.

I'm looking forward to learning shorwa as well.
