weeee wabakhsha. Im so sorry lol thought you lived down here. No its more inland.Originally posted by Laila View PostLOL!
No i live in Northern Cali. I am transferring to Southern Cali. Either Irvine or UCLA.
But UCI and UCLA are right by the beach. UCI is right by Laguna Beach, you cant walk 10ft in that beach
without seeing an Afghan. lol Saturdays there are random old Kandahair men playing manfi.
But ya id recommend UCI for more of an Afghan experience. Plus Irvine is not as big of a city as Los Angeles,
its much less overwhelming for someone coming from Norcal. UCLA is just sooo overwhelming.

Irvine is a really nice city. And i totally love it. I have been there so many times, and i fell love with the living there. Its one of the safest cities in the entire nation. There is a huge populations of Muslims, and like you said, Afghans. There are so many afghan kabab houses. LOL Kuchi Kabab House is right near the campus.
Yeah, Laguna Beach is gorgeous. I am looking to get an apartment or house. My father wants me to do my masters there, so basically live there. They want to come and vacation here.
I think UCLA is filled with snobby kids....lol believe me i have visited the campus, didnt feel like a home-y kind of school for me
but i love Irvine. And my parents feel more secure and confident of UCI.
