  • going to gym during ramazan

how do you handle it? or do you avoid it for a month? what about those of you who play sports?
i think going in the morning is a better choice but good luck to me on that.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

^ You can do Dhikr at any given time and you won't be spending the day at the gym - an hour max. during Ramdan..

I haven't gone to the gym during Ramadan =/ and I don't plan on doing so either, I'll be too busy/exhausted with classes .. I'm just gonna start after Ramadan inshAllah.

Daa zma lewanay Zrra gorah, daa sta lewanee Mina..
Za ba da Sahra warnakam da Iran pa Golestan,
Dalta za yao & yakta yam, halta zar zma pa Shaan

people don't go to the gym because they dont have anything better to do with their "damn" day. i am a muslim alright but i m also a human being who has to wake up every day and look forward to a healthy lifestyle.
the reason so many people are turning away from islam is because you people don't give them any room to breathe in. islam is not a punishment, it's a lifestyle. it's not meant to deprive you of your basic needs.

swat no i m not in vancouver. even here i go to a gym that none of my friends go to. i like disappearing for a while every day.

What I do is that I leave intense sports like Muay thai and MMA and go do weights and squash instead (they are relatively less intense than the former). I normally go an hour and half before rojaa maathae. Before working out though I defrost the meat, and season it.

It's hard to go to the gym during ramadan becuase during and after exercise you need to drink water. I can't handel that so NO GYM for me!

After iftar would be so good but after iftar I can barely make it to taraweh.

                          I think you can.

                          DaZahroJaam,
I'd say you should pass on the Gym offer for a month.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                          -Ferishta, 1560–1620

I didnt go for a moth because of my illnes. Yesterday I nearly killed my self. I guess I should go like peroza but before iftar so I can limp back free of guilt.

You must be committed to it, to want to carry on in Ramazaan, but it'd be good to have a nice rest. Ramazaan's now in the Summer so it's more difficult and going to the gym, well you must have a lot of enegery and strength.

                              Lol, same.

Maybe during the day you could do just a little exercising, like skipping?

If you've recently been ill, then take it easy khorey.
