  • How to quit smoking

    Hi.
I smoke since I was 14 and I do it very frequently, 2 boxes everyday. I did not like this way, because after 16, I stopped growing taller, and I grew thinner and thinner gradually. Everytime I had decided to quit it, I had started it over after at most 23 hours.

At 116 lbs and 5'9.5", I looked like a small kid. That's why on February 3rd this year I just determined that I had to make it done: I had had enough! I then stopped smoking and I kept myself until 1st of April, when I started again. Yeah, it was by far the longest gap I had given between smoking, but I couldn't have made it! I couldn't have quit it... Now, I am 112 lbs, and I need help. I need to get rid of this. What would you recommend me to quit smoking? Or, better yet, to gain some 55 lbs?

112 pounds? you seem to have the genetics of an african bushman, not a white man.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

            Think of this:

"Why should I contribute towards my death?"
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I can't stop it, yar. When I don't smoke, it's like that I don't do something very vital about my life, like breathing. Really. No exeggaration.

How about how to increase my appetite. I can't eat, you know...

by then the physical need for nicotine would have lessened. you stand up, dust off your hands and say "i quit". and then be man enough to mean it. simple.

I heard that Varenicline Champix is good but it's Rx mediacation. It may cause strange side eggect like abnormal dreams - a friend of mine suffered from it.
Go to your local NHS and ask.

My body reaction is too strong for me to struggle with it.

But I will do what you say. I will just quit it and try not to smoke as much as I can. Let us see how much I can keep.
