Tolstoy would be horrified to find his book on your shelf. Especially since that particular opus is based on his experiences in Crimea. There are also hits of obsessive compulsive behavior - the notebook's arrange, few filled pages; 3 fresh sticky notes listing things that are irrelevent. The multiple windows on the laptop show the need to focus in order to accomplish your objectives as opposed to this ADDish signing on and off and back and forth between windows.

well good thing i have not placed his book on my shelf for the sake of pleasing him or hitler's book for the sake of pleasing hitler. they both can roll in their graves all they want. and if it was obsessive compulsive disorder, the books, notebooks and the notepads would all be placed on the right side of the desk. the stapler would not be tucked in to some random empty spot on the shelf. the dark wires would be white as well as beneath the desk, not pilled up in a mess on top of a white surfaced desk. the notepads as well as the quotes on the wall would be aligned to each other rather than being plastered randomly and crooked. the side of the drawer with the pads sticking to them would not have clouds of pencil lead smeared all over it either.

          Life of Pi - cliche
          Faust - Cliche
Satanic Verses - hard to fault you for. The Ferishta Gibril character motif was retarded.
          Plato the Republic - Cliche

Try the Illustrated Man by Bradbury. You may like it.

I think its unfortunate you dont get more than a surface understanding out of reading these classics. Even Hitler, if you read what the allies did a generation before in the Treaty of Versailles and how they instigated, destroyed, and then humiliated Germany - what one gets out of Mine Kampf is an understanding that Hitler was created, not born.

What is the point of reading the books these men write if you dont fully grasp their lessons?

they both can roll in their graves all they want.

I would say that fate is more befitting for Churchill. The Quran aptly describes those *******s and their predecessors when it says:

When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth," they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!" Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.

No. iphone responding on the old 5S is hard due to finger to key size ratio.

and i am the one who is suggesting that living in a non muslim society is immoral for a muslim?? REALLY?? because last i checked, you were a talib supporter and the main argument of their movements against the afghan government is because they are backed by non muslims. they released a statement last night regarding tolo and channel one by condemning them for being influenced by the ideals (such as freedom of speech) of non muslims.

i am not condemning you for living in a non muslim society, i want to know WHY YOU THINK IT'S ACCEPTABLE FOR YOU TO MAKE THAT COMPROMISE FOR YOURSELF IN ORDER TO SURVIVE AND LIVE IN PEACEFUL ENVIRONMENT BUT NOT FOR THE AFGHANS IN AFGHANISTAN. why do you think you should have that privilege but not them??

below the surface understanding of things apparently leads people into justifying hitler's actions and supporting taliban. i am very well satisfied with staying on the surface. i don't want to be immersed by my understanding of anything to the point where i lose sight of the basics of right and wrong.
and it's not just you. this problem is very common amongst doctors. so definitive and systematic with their conclusions as if human being were no different than pathogens. you understand diseases, you don't understand human beings. and i don't need to know what caused hitler to be what he became, i understand power.

Feigning knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Understanding the pathogenetic or just even the pathogenic cause of something is vitally important.

Why you fault doctors is that your kind have a surface understanding, at best, of how this concept works leading you to treat symptoms instead of causes vs the time honored tradition of understanding, since Galen, of treating the cause

Thats fine for a viral cold, but devastating for AIDS or diabetes or whatever else is a truly destructive disease.

Human beings like you inexorably snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory because they make the same mistakes, endlessly, over and over.

To the contrary, you have no clue about how power is gained, how it works, and how to wield it or how to get others to yield to it.

To stop the creation of a Hitler, or avoid instigating the German nationalistic fervor that would create one, saves far more many lives than your approach of making all the same mistakes and creating a new one and then having to kill so many more lives in the process.

Why just look at Golden Dawn in Greece or the instigations that were predictable across the world, the devastating results. What is Golden Dawn but just a mini Nazi recurrence on a smaller scale for the economic ravaging of Greece?

Socrates may have drank a chalice-of-poison (Da Zahro Jaam) my frenemy, but remember that it was a punishment that extinguished a great mind and a dissentor that espoused all of my values, not yours! lol.

he chose that for himself. it ceased being a punishment and became something entirely else right there. nor were his values "extinguished" as the result of that choice.

Myth perpetuated by Nietsche. Interesting and ironic that you chose to utilize the mythology put forward by a philosopher who was famous for noting that if a woman was on the cusp of intelligence that there must certainly be some sort of malfunction in her "S&*" organs. Now I certainly fault Nietzche for that conclusion, hence my avoidance of quoting him.

The reality was that if you read the court proceedings from Plato he chose to make a mockery for the Athenian court and pissed off the jury by suggesting his punishment be free meals for the rest of his life in a very minor fine.

The Athenian court chose poison and the centuries decided Hemlock was the poison.

Have you ever let it weigh upon you that perhaps feigning maturity might actually be immaturity in the extreme? Will a level of maturity and analysis ever reach you such that you divest yourself from your programming? How much are you willing to wager that the reality you believe in is the reality after all? Are you content to be a part of the appartus of oppression even though you do not believe it is so?

At the end of the day, if all the books on those shelfs cannot elicit an ability to extricate yourself from the classic tribalism and erroneous equivalent of a flawed oral tradition (i.e. it must be right because my uncle or my dad told me so -e.g. Arabs invaded Kundoz) then you really have not come a long way from the lice infested villager you mock.

Oh Frenemy, have you confused a cliff side tumble to perdition with the straight road to salvation?

look at you, trying so desperately to antagonize me while dragging nietsche in to this.. i told you, no man is 100% correct in all of what he speaks or does. one of the main benefits of studying things "on surface" is allowing one's self the freedom of not surrendering entirely to a concept to the point where you feel deprived by that one point in their beliefs that does not go well yours. i read plato, i do not worship him. so if nietsche or plato have something of that nature to say about women, that is perfectly alright with me. it doesn't shake the foundations of my beliefs, it doesn't make me question them either. as i said, no one is perfect in all that they do or say.
you did not quote nietsche but you did not refrain from mentioning this part of his supposed belief so your little trick here served you it's half assed purpose anyways, didn't it?? you don't get to excuse yourself, you are guilty of that. the other half of it's purpose would have been succeeding in making me question that spot taken on my shelf by that book which i do not regret so A for effort and F for your failure on that.

he could have appealed to their sense of compassion. he could have begged for forgiveness or promised to reform. he could have apologized. instead, knowing what the consequences would lead him to, he sat in front of an angry mob of 200 idiots and mocked them.

Will a level of maturity and analysis ever reach you such that you divest yourself from your programming? NO. and not because i don't have faith in my beliefs but because i have not come across one that deserves respect enough to be allowed a podium to question them. most definitely not you. Ah but the rub is that some are more correct than others and an evidence basis provides that direction my dear Watson.

one of the main benefits of studying things "on surface" is allowing one's self the freedom of not surrendering entirely to a concept to the point where you feel deprived by that one point in their beliefs that does not go well yours.

                              No, thats called pop culture.

i read plato, i do not worship him. so if nietsche or plato have something of that nature to say about women, that is perfectly alright with me. it doesn't shake the foundations of my beliefs, it doesn't make me question them either. as i said, no one is perfect in all that they do or say.

I partially agree but would say that you are less perfect than most in your faculties of reasoning and deduction. This is a fixable problem though since it is a matter of conscience, drive, and recognizing reality.

you did not quote nietsche but you did not refrain from mentioning this part of his supposed belief so your little trick here served you it's half assed purpose

Startled eh as you Canucks say? Lol. As I said, your knowledge is pop culture. His exact word in Kaufman's translation from Beyond Good and Evil is "When a woman has scholarly inclinations there is usually something wrong with her sexuality."

anyways, didn't it?? you don't get to excuse yourself, you are guilty of that.

I deserve a trial my fair lady! Though judge and jury duty would not include you lol. Impartiality is the word of the day.

the other half of it's purpose would have been succeeding in making me question that spot taken on my shelf by that book which i do not regret so A for effort and F for your failure on that.

Incorrect. It was Paul Simon who sang "People talking without speaking/ people hearing without listening" in his Song of Silence. I would add in your case, "people reading without understanding." The spot of the book doesn't matter since its as if it is not even on your shelf or is merely decoration.

The reality was that if you read the court proceedings from Plato he chose to make a mockery for the Athenian court and pissed off the jury by suggesting his punishment be free meals for the rest of his life in a very minor fine.

Mayhap because the court was stacked with people like the ones you like? Who espoused the convictions you hold so dear? Nonetheless, we can conclude Da Zahro Jaam was not his choice of exit but that of the "angry mob of 200 idiots" - ironic isnt it?

Have you ever let it weigh upon you that perhaps feigning maturity might actually be immaturity in the extreme? how ever so fascinating.. is that what you see it as??

Maybe? Or maybe it was a validated observation.

Will a level of maturity and analysis ever reach you such that you divest yourself from your programming? NO. and not because i don't have faith in my beliefs but because i have not come across one that deserves respect enough to be allowed a podium to question them. most definitely not you.

Oh woman child loooool, your honesty is appreciated - faith is exactly what it is! An ancient, archaic, repeatedly defeated one at that! I prefer reason, evidence bases, and validity. It results in far more compassion and far less murder than what yours results in.

How much are you willing to wager that the reality you believe in is the reality after all? zero percent. reality is subjective. you and i both know that.

Not at all, I accept no such conclusion. Certain aspects of cultural morality may be relative. But events do really happen, wrongs really are done (perhaps in response to other wrongs though), and bias is a term that carries weight.

Are you content to be a part of the appartus of oppression even though you do not believe it is so?
                              are you??

After an analysis and an evidence based debate, the facts would venture the question is better answered by you.

i am proud of my ability to recognize deception when i see it.

We have heaps of evidence that show your discriminatory capability to recognize deception is neither sensitive nor specific. Instead, you perpetuate it solely because it makes you feel good.

The iphone has a mirror app. Also, you can reverse the camera which provides the physics definition of "real image" as opposed to the less cost effective mirror.

i can't stand the thought of bearing your constant reflections for you even if it is in the confines of that rotten and molded head of yours.

Sometimes truth and ego coincide. This is one of them.

i am sorry that the only form of conviction you believe in is that which compels one to tie bombs around donkeys in the name of jahad, hide in a cave and brag about courage or commit crimes like the ones mentioned below while everything else measures to pop culture. i take that back. i am not sorry at all. and no, i am not startled. as a matter of fact, i am beyond amused. and there is nothing wrong with feeling good about good things in the world. as long as your definition of good is not portrayed in the images below.
speaking of the images below, i am more than willing to deprive myself of the sort of wisdom that allows one to justify **** like this. would you like a crown for your share of that wisdom??
