This sound like your Saudi theory, just because you let some Saudi sodomize you, now you think every Saudi is gay.Originally posted by Karachi View Postspending like this is very common among the elite of muslim world, go to saudi arabia, Dubai pakistan etc.. you will see it. Whoever becomes rich, they start showing off like this. Westerners also spend, but they spend with in limits. With us the problem is we have to show off all time, how much money we have etc... in reality most so called muslims are not following Islam at all. Look at Prophet Muhammad and his modesty in everything, where is that modesty today in 99% of muslims?
Spending like this is common in the elites of every culture you sack of dumbshyt. 99% of muslims are poor, they dont do this. Go back inside that cave of yours and stop saying ignorant things all the time or go get an education.

The real issue is that Muslim so called culture generally and Pashtun/Afghan culture usually discourage pleasure, merry making, happiness, enjoyment etc as dance, music, parties, etc are religiously prohibited. marriages are the only life time opportunity where such things are allowed to do so people make full use of such occasions.
If Islamic Salafi culture is out of Muslims lives, they will enjoy each day of their lives and marriages will be one such occasion to celebrate.
It is double jeopardy that Islamism does not allow happiness in life and now Afghan government even restrict the pursuit of happiness even on the occasions of marriages. So sad!

Not really. Hindus have some of the most elaborate weddings in the World. Marriage is sacred union between two people, the start of a family and new life. It is regarded as the most important day in ones life. Hindus also have a lot of restrictions because of their religion or way of life so again the same reason that marriages are one such occasion to fully celebrate. Modern Hindus or even modern Muslims do not spend that much on marriages as for them there are many other such opportunities to spend for happiness.Originally posted by khushal View PostNot really. Pashtuns in mountainous areas where Salafism or Wahabist Islamism have not reached yet, celebrate life and their marriages are with lesser extent of pomp and show.

The elites of Hindus and muslims and christians dont have restrictions. They mostly do what ever they want. It is the poor in the world that have restrictions because of economics.Originally posted by Badlun View PostHindus also have a lot of restrictions because of their religion or way of life so again the same reason that marriages are one such occasion to fully celebrate. Badlun is the guy who spends his life savings on a marriage to "celebrate life" while his bride to be is making out with the guy he hired to crush ice. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Even if I knew 10.000 people I wouldn't invite them.Originally posted by Bengal_Tiger View PostSo @mixxedpashtana I guess this means that you won't be able to invite your planned 10,000 wedding guests when you find your pure ideal Paktiwal man....what a shame! *sigh*
