I urge all the Islamic 'ulama of Afghankhwa and Pakhtunkhwa from Kandahar to Kohat to organize a grand jirga of Islamic 'ulama to hold a mass gathering and a mass dua (supplication) for peace in Pakhtunkhwa. All 'ulama be they Deobandi, Barelvi, Shia, Ahlul Hadith and so forth.



Pir Rehmat Khan of Pekhawar, a big scholar from Pakhtunkhwa. He and other scholars of other schools of thought need to come together to organize a huge Islamic jirga to pray for peace in Pakhtunkhwa.


I will comment more on this truly historic and horrific event more in the near future, but this is all I have to say for now.

May Allah bring peace to Pakhtunkhwa.

This is the confusion that we try to extinguish fire with fire. How Islamic Jerga when Islamism(mixing politics with religion like jergas) is the cause of such barbaric acts.

The solution is Pashtun Jerga not Islamic jerga. Mullahs and peers may pray but they are not for the political solutions.

Dont post at all if you say islam is the root problem...Jirga itself has islamic beliefs.We dont need seculars to tell us islam is wrong.The double standars of seculars is amazing.Today ...surahs are recited for dead children not candles being lit...Today khatam e quran is recited for dead not some secular ceremony.Smh...Janazah are carried out for kids...because they were muslims.

Islam can cater for religious acts like prayers , morality and spirituality but not for politics or culture or economy etc. This is secularism . I am not for atheism but secularism. Separation of religion and state. Not totally abolishing religion.

By the way, candles is not shirk and along with janaza candles can be lit and this si what I see in TV in Peshawar people are having candles in their hands too.

There is difference to lit candle out of ritual practice in mssses we see in west and that of once litting of candle on grave out of love..intentions and actions in masses differ from sole action with once litting of candle that too with intentions of not following a ritual but out if love.

NOTE: I havent seen masses of pashtuns doing this.It carries the risk of shirk coz peoole immitate to wrong path by satan easily.

To lit candles for dead ones in masses is paganism in old cultures..its not from islam.Thats what we also see today common in west.Check below the paganist rituals.
