  • Claims of Jamaati terror war planned against Bangladesh

"Meanwhile a highly placed source inside BNP told Blitz that the party may go for anti government agitation program from end of November in "full swing". The source said, the party high command is waiting to see the final fate of Jamaat members like Moulana Delwar Hossain Sayeedi, who is currently awaitin g final decision of the apex court on the death penalty. Because BNP believes, Jamaat men will go for massive anarchy in the name of movement against the government once their top leaders face the gallows. The source said Jamaat is secretly taking out all preparations including guerilla warfare training to confront the government in militant way with the aim of ousting the ruling party from power. Bangladesh nationalist party is optimistically waiting for such actions of Jamaat as the key tools of winning it's current struggle against the government. To them, Jamaat anticipated anarchism is largely their main hope. Most of the leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party believe, the ruling Bangladesh Awami League can hardly survive Jamaat's actions."

    1. Jamaat is a terrorist organization supported by Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and America opposed to the existence of an independent Bangladesh and which carried out war crimes in 1971.

    2. It supports the "Muslim Brotherhood" in Egypt which has also been accused of carrying out a terrorist campaign against the Egyptian government.

    Egypt.

    3. Syria has been brought to ruin through an American/Turkish/Saudi backed "Islamist" insurgency backed by Brotherhood "Islamists" and others including Salafists.

    4. The BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) has a history of terrorism including a massacre of senior Bangladeshi opposition leaders (while the BNP was in power) which killed the wife of the former president of Bangladesh.

August 21st bomb attack on Bangladeshi opposition in 2004 widely blamed on the BNP led by the controversial Khaleda Zia.

The controversial and highly corrupt Khaleda Zia. Zia is backed by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Pakistan works to destabilize Bangladesh and also to use Bangladeshi soil to destabilize India by aiding anti-Indian separatists in India's north-east as part of the wider Indo-Pak cold war. This endangers Bangladesh's security as it is a poor country which should seek to engage in trade with its nuclear neighbour and not seek confrontation with it.

    5. If these claims of a Jamaati terror war are true - there is no doubt they plan violence if their leaders are hanged - then expect to see it preceded and accompanied by a propaganda campaign claiming.

"Muslims are being killed in Bangladesh" (Translation: Jamaati activists fighting and rioting are being dealt with by riot police)

"Islam is in danger in Bangladesh" (Translation: The pro-Pakistan Jamaat is not getting what it wants).

"Bangladesh is run by Hindus" (Translation: It is not run by pro-Pakistani forces who were originally opposed to the creation of Bangladesh and oppose any form of normal relations with India).

The Jamaati propaganda blitz is already running wild on defence.pk with the help of the Pakistani nationalist moderators there.

I hope that senior Jamaati sympathizers in London also condemn any planned Jamaati terrorist campaign in Bangladesh.

Mohammed Abdel Bari, a Jamaati sympathizer based and active in London. It is highly doubtful he will condemn any violent campaign launched by the Jamaat e Islami in Bangladesh and may use his media profile to legitimize it.

If this terrorist campaign does indeed take place (unless it is thwarted by Bangladeshi security services), it may receive support from Saudi Arabia and Turkey, as for Pakistan it will definitely help this if not order it, as the Jamaat is more of a Pakistani nationalist organization than an "Islamic" one.

However if Saudi Arabia and Turkey are foolish enough to get involved, there will be severe consequences and things will happen that they did not imagine.

Saudi-regime dictator, Abdullah Al-Saud with a Hindu. Abdullah Al-Saud's regime whilst having warm relations with India seeks to destabilize Muslim Bangladesh and to damage its economy. The Saudi regime is a well-known sponsor of terrorism and supporter of the Jamaat e Islami terrorist organization.

Erdogan of Turkey, another well-known thug and sponsor of terrorism. He has failed in his war to overthrow the Syrian government and is despised by most urban middle-class Turks as an uncouth thug. The Bangladesh embassy was attacked in Turkey a while back by Erdogan supporters.

John Kerry, American regime's foreign minister. The American regime supported the 1971 genocide against Muslim Bengalis as did Saudi Arabia. Both have been unsuccessful in trying to overthrow the Syrian government despite huge support for terrorists.

My message for Jamaat e Islami, the BNP, Muslim Brotherhood, Pakistan, America, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other enemies of Bangladesh.

    - This is not 1971. We were an unarmed people there and you murdered our people, our children, our women and also raped them. Now we are much stronger. If you dare to make a move against us, there will be repercussions that you had not imagined.

You WILL stop talking so about the Prime Minister of Turkey..

Because a group of people protest your embassy (as you executed a 91 year old leader), you CANNOT TALK like that..

I spoke to someone knowledgable from Dhaka.

        1. It is better for the BNP to come in to power than the current Awami League whose lower-level cadres are engaging in a lot of violence and criminality.

        2. However though the BNP may have the democratic right to carry out agitation (as long as it is peaceful) and call for proper elections, they should definitely not support any Jamaati terrorism.

        3. The BNP needs to ditch the Jamaat as it is hated by the people of Bangladesh.

            1. The Taliban would call the Pakistani state or any of the Pakistani political parties including the PML-N, PTI, ANP etc as "anti-Muslim and anti-Islam".

ISIS would also call the Iraqi government as "anti-Muslim and anti-Islam".

Boko Haram would call the Nigerian government as "anti-Muslim and anti-Islam".

            2. I do not support the Awami League but Jamaat is far worse.

Bangladesh (legally speaking) is far Islamic than Turkey, the inheritance and marriage laws are based on Quranic-based legislation (notice I did not say "Islamic", as I believe a lot of traditional "Islam" is based on fallacious and apocryphal post-Quranic sources).

Even the centre-left Awami League cannot repeal these laws due to the strength of the Islamic community in Bangladesh.

Bangladeshi prime minister and Awami League leader Hasina addressing a gathering of Islamic leaders.

In Bangladesh the Islamic community is like this:

            - Tableeghis: Pro-Awami League or neutral. Mujib gave them the land where they hold their annual 5-6 million strong gathering in Tongi.

            - Sufis: Many, if not most pro-Awami League.

            - Deobandis: Some opposed to the Awami League but in general Deobandis in Bangladesh are doctrinally opposed to Maudoodi and Jamaat e "Islami".

            - Salafis: Many hate Jamaat as they dislike Maudoodi who they view as having heretical ideas.

            - Jamaatis: Agents of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, anti-Bangladesh and opposed to the existence of an independent Bangladesh. Generally get less than 5% of the vote but have huge power beyond their share of the votes due to huge Saudi funding and Pakistani backing.

            Hasina with Iranian Islamic women.

Hijabi supporter of the Awami League.

            Awami League.

Though I do not support the Awami League there is a huge propaganda campaign to misrepresent Bangladesh (and thus the Awami League's role) as the illegitimate creation of "evil Hindu India".

The truth is Muslim Bengalis called for a separate Muslim East Bengal as early as 1905 in what was the precursor to the Pakistan project.

In 1970 we along with Pashtun and Baloch nationalists won elections and our coalition had support of 5 of the 3 provinces of the then Pakistan i.e. east Pakistan, Balochistan and "NWFP" (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), the Pakistani military refused to accept a Bengali leader and started a campaign of massacring and raping Pakistani civilians (of Bengali ethnicity in the then east Pakistan).

            They lost, we won.

Unfortunately the Pakistani army, Jamaat and Saudi Arabia have never fully accepted an independent Bangladesh and work towards making a Bangladesh which is subservient towards Pakistani/Saudi interests. One propaganda technique is to call any attempt to normalize relations with India as "betrayal" or to call the Awami League an anti-Islamic party (though it does have some unsavoury Islamophobic elements in it including secular "intellectuals") when it is less secular than the AKP in Turkey.

Websites like defence.pk are part of the Pakistani/Saudi propaganda campaign against Bangladesh.

Alright, but I've heard Sheikh Mujeeb was an Indian puppet and he wanted to merge back Bangladesh with India and that's why he was killed by his own army; they killed him 4 years later on August 15(India's independence day) to send a message to India and anybody that wanted to live under Indian hegemony.

                  1. Mujib prior to the creation of Pakistan was Muslim nationalist.

The Muslims of Bengal suffered acutely from the domination of Hindu landlords and yearned for freedom from their subjugation so were passionate supporters of the Pakistan project.

In fact it is Muslim Bengalis who on the sub-continent on a mass level pioneered Muslim nationalism with their campaign for the separation of Bengal and the creation of a Muslim east Bengal in 1905.

Mujib was a student activist and a strongman, not quite an Altaf Hussain type godfather but involved in physical confrontation.

Mujib with his parents. Mujib was a Muslim nationalist during his student days as Bengali Muslims suffered under the domination of Hindu landlords.

This book tells us about the communal violence that broke out after the division of India in 1947. One day Sheikh Mujibur Rahman saw that hundreds of Hindus were attacking a mosque. He cried out “Pakistan Zindabad!” with some other young Muslims and started resisting the Hindu mob by brick-throwing.
                  http://www.thenews.com.pk/Todays-News-9-144840-Mujib

                  2. The older generation of Muslim Bengali leaders such as Suhrawardi, Fazlul Haque and others had an emotional attachment to the concept of a united Muslim Pakistan and no matter how many inequities there were would not want to jeopardize, what was for them its relatively sancrosanct "integrity". After this older generation passed Mujib was left. Mujib too had an attachment for Pakistan but it was leftists/communists aligned to his Awami League that were the key proponents of Bangladeshi independence.

                  3. Mujib did not want Bangladesh to be part of India, that is just nonsense just as the Jamati/Pakistani claims in 1971 that east Pakistan was being overrun by Hindus, that mosques were being destroyed (in fact it is the Pakistani army that destroyed mosques in 1971) and the glorious Pakistan army was winning victory after victory up till December 16th 1971 when Pakistan radio told shocked listeners that Dhaka had been captured by Bengalis.

India was breathing down Bangladesh's neck post-1971 and a country struggling with the aftermath of a horrific genocide had to deal carefully with India.

It is worth noting that it is widely acknowledged that Sheikh Mujib was not a submissive person. "Evidences, as available, suggest he did not follow a submissive policy but was under pressure from India. ... Mujib tried to take a hard line. ... But it was too late. He could not resist India's pressure." [Begum, p. 122-123]. Curiously, it seems to be widely believed in India that Sheikh Mujib was partly responsible for facilitating anti-Indian sentiment and propaganda in Bangladesh. "The anti-India propaganda started during Mujibur Rahman's time and India lodged protests with the government many a time. Though it cannot be said thta Sheikh Mujibur Rahman did not wish to stop anti-Indian campaign yet he was unable to pay full attention towards it. ... Probably, it was ALLOWED in order to divert the attention of the people from the incapabilities of his government." [Kuldip Singh, p. 36] (emphasis is mine)
                  http://www.globalwebpost.com/farooqm...post_mujib.htm

                  4. Mujib after 1971 was far from an Indian puppet but his main defect was that he embarked upon a type of dictatorial rule and brutal elimination of opponents. He does not occupy a central position in the Bangladeshi national narrative as "father of the nation". He may do so in the eyes of the Awami League and its supporters but not to the majority of Bangladeshis.

Jinnah is seen as the father of Pakistan, Ataturk as the father of the Turks, Mujib is seen as a politician steeped in controversy as Jinnah is in Pakistan or Nasser is in Egypt.

                  5. Bangladesh is an independent state with a 0.2 million army and a 5-6 million reserve paramilitary force.

A Bangladeshi soldier. Bangladesh has a standing military of 0.2-3 million and a reserve paramilitary force of 5-6 million.

                  - It has no foreign military bases unlike Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia have or had.
                  - It has no American drones operating on its territory unlike Pakistan, Yemen etc.
                  - Its religion is Islam and every year 5-6 million Muslims gather in Dhaka in land given to the Tableegh i Jamaat organization by Mujib.
                  - Its currency is the taka whose value is decided by the national government of Bangladesh and not like the CFA Franc of the Francophone West African countries like Ivory coast, Senegal whose currency is decided by the French government in Paris.

                  http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opi...953758399.html

The Awami League is aligned with India partly as a reaction to Pakistan using its rival the BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party), however the Awami League government is not a puppet of India and there are some fundamental disagreements between the Bangladeshi and Indian governments even today.

Unofficially I have heard from certain sources that in reality the Bangladeshi military covertly has supreme control of Bangladesh and allows civilian leaders certain parameters to operate in but in key strategic issues of national security the Bangladeshi military decides what happens. Officially, even according to mainstream media, the Bangladeshi military is called a "powerful autonomous" organization which needs to be appeased.

Bangladeshi soldier (left) in a Pakistani Ordinance Factory one year ago.

If we were to go by the wild propaganda being circulated on defence.pk by the Jamaatis there - aided by the Pakistani nationalist moderators who delete topics which highlight the role of the ISI in Bangladesh - we would believe that there is no way that Bangladeshi soldiers would be visiting Pakistan as Bangladesh is under the (supposed) "control" of "evil Hindu India".

This is just nonsense and propaganda being spread by Pakistani nationalists and Jamaatis bitter and yearning for revenge for their 1971 defeat.

The Bangladeshi army is a professional and disciplined force which has working relations with both India and Pakistan but also views both suspiciously and in a slightly hostile manner.

                  We are an independent state.

                    Note:

As I am not able to edit the post above let me add this correction. In the post above it says:

Jinnah is seen as the father of Pakistan, Ataturk as the father of the Turks, Mujib is seen as a politician steeped in controversy as Jinnah is in Pakistan or Nasser is in Egypt.

It should read "...as Bhutto is in Pakistan or Nasser in Egypt".

Jinnah is seen as the father of the nation in Pakistan and has a state promoted personality cult surrounding him, Bhutto and Mujib are both seen as controversial politicians in Pakistan and Bangladesh respectively, though Mujib is half way between Jinnah and Bhutto in being seen as a national hero and a corrupt politician.

As for Jamaat e "Islami", if you go outside of their main English language website, defence.pk, you will see they are hated by most Bangladeshis on Youtube video comments, facebook pages, forums such as Banglacricket and thus they seek refuge in a Pakistani military site, defence.pk, where they enjoy the protection of the Pakistani nationalist moderators.

Calls for terrorism in Bangladesh on a Pakistani military site:

Jamaat-e-islaami will have no option to pickup arms like Algeria back in the 90s. The jei must and should pickup arms for their survival.

                        1. Defence.pk is a well-known anti-Bangladeshi Pakistani military site which hosts individuals aligned to "Islamist" groups operating in Bangladesh who regularly post anti-government propaganda and have routinely called for terrorism in Bangladesh.

                        2. The poster above, based in Canada, is calling for a campaign of terrorism in Bangladesh as Algeria witnessed in the 1990s when around 100,000 Algerians died, i.e. is to say twice as many Pakistanis have died in the past few years.

                        3. This probably violates Canadian anti-terrorism laws in many ways.

With ISIS in taking up arms against the Iraqi government.

The ISIS and other rebels taking up arms against the Syrian government.

Boko Haram causing terror in Nigeria.

Bangladesh now too faces the prospect of "Islamist" terrorism, being actively encouraged on a Pakistani military site.

                        May Allah protect Bangladesh, ameen.

Victim of Algeria's war against terrorism in the 1990s. On a controversial Pakistani military site, a Jamaat e Islami supporter has called for a campaign of terrorism to start in Bangladesh.

ISIS, a terrorist group fighting in Iraq.

Boko Haram, a terrorist campaign fighting against the Nigerian government.

pro-Pakistani activists from Bangladesh disseminate propaganda against Bangladesh and also to call for terrorism against Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh army and security services will have to deal with the threat to Bangladesh from the Pakistani-backed Jamaat e Islami terrorist organization also supported by Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

These guys are hard core Jammati-e- Islami supporters, these guys are always in some kind of paranoia and see conspiracy in every thing that happens in Bangladesh.

These guys are inclined to Saudi Arabia and talk about the delusional Ummah as well.

Firstly its is the BNP that did not participate in elections and so Awami League got the majority seats and formed the Govt.

This Govt. is recognized by India, Russia and China.

These guys are tiny minority in BD and their views are not shared across BD. But in the site you have mentioned they are in large number inciting animosity towards India and other religions.

These guys are left over Razakars who fought along side Pakistani Army in 1971. No matter how well Bangladesh do they will always curse their moderate Govt. Basically their loyalties lie with Pakistan.
