  • more freedom in Pakistan than India

I like your pic, Pakistani. So guilty, yet with a sense of humor.

Absolutely. Pakistan has way more freedom for minorities than India. Just don't fall foul of the medieval Blasphemy laws and all is well.

In india, you can speak against the government on the media, i dare your average Pakistani speak badly about ISI or the local chaundry.
Well just so that we are balanced in our critique, I must say that some media outlets in Pakistan like the Dawn and the Jang group are relatively free. They regularly denounce the Army/ISI nexus and bluntly criticize the landlord politics.

But the point of the article, about religious freedom for minorities is a different matter. I cant be free to practice my religion if there's a state-sanctioned provision for somebody to accuse me of blasphemy.

^India is no better than Pakistan at all. Hindu Indians killed 3000 Muslim Indians because those Muslims did NOT burn a train carrying Hindu pilgrims. The most bloodthirsty aggressive weak men in the subcontinent are well known to be Indian.

The point about the blasphemy law is valid I think. Hopefully it would be reviewed soon since it wastes a lot of time with fake cases. But still Indian Personal Law is just as dumb.

Really Runner? Why would the mobs kill if they DID NOT burn the train?

And mass riots are one thing but creating laws that clearly benefit one religious group over another is a completely different thing.

What do you mean lame? 3,000 or 4,000 murdered because of something they didnt do. Indian government officials involved, Modi involved. The police allowing it to happen. It's only one incident. These cases occur everyday in India.

Balochistan is a low key affair and is not the equivalent of what happened in Gujerat. Gujerat was pure racism and hatred by Indian Hindus towards Indian Muslims. Balochistan is a political issue, not one of racism. The Baloch insurgents (who are probably funded by RAW) and the Pakistani government, are not doing it out of a racial basis.

What has Pakistan done besides play double games with the whole world not just india, even Iran accused Pakistan of harbouring anti state elements and that also proved to be true when rigi was arrested with Pakistani ID Cards.
No country is innocent as you say. Iran certainly is not. India is probably the worst through its terrorist actions, or land grabbing, of Kashmir. Pakistan certainly is not innocent in the matter though many of the things Pakistan has been doing recently have not been in its interests. For example, the bombing of Pashtun areas by drones are not in Pakistan's interests. They probably can't stop it, but they should stop it. There's no justification for it.

Roadrunner, You suffer from a Inferiority complex, you post pictures of dark skinned indians ignoring the fact that across the indus river, most Pakistanis look exactly like that.

I ve heard it all before, the usual turk, arab and persian claims, but go to Pakistan and see for yourself the truth.
I don't think there's much turkish arabic or persian in Pakistan. There's also not too much Indian, though some do exist. The majority of those in Pakistan have a look which is different to the majority of Indians. I see no reason why you are so ashamed of being black. Why do you for example live in this dream world that you're all white skinned people through your adoration of Bollywood. Are you on drugs?

India did land reforms when it was created, and land was given to the poor, while in the gate of Islam Pakistan, no land reforms were done and chaundrys still to this day keep hold of mass acres of land that has displace the poor and kept them homeless and landless.

Pakistan is a failed state, the whole world states this, experts state this, and imgine that, a failed state holding onto a huge amount of nuclear bombs, its a scary thing.

            Have a great day
India is no better in land reforms. It had a better head start at Partition, since there was more development due to the Indian submission under colonialism. However, the rich poor gap is just as bad in India as in Pakistan.

The term failed state is merely a political term and has been propagandized. Incredible India for example turned out to be stinking India during the recent Delhi Games with people defaecating on the street and race track. it turned out to be so bad that they had to cordon off whole areas where visitors walked in case some Indian decided to shyt on them. You cannot claim not to be a failed state when half your people cannot feed themselves and have no access to sanitation, and the entire northeast is in civil war. It's just noone cares about India, and it is being propped up to desperately counter the Chinese juggernaut, which in my opinion has too much momentum now.

It was determined that the Muslims did not burn the train. The train had some electrical fault. But the Hindu Indians decided to burn 3,000 Muslims. Very uncivilized people that cannot claim civilization.

I agree with your point about discriminatory laws. They should be changed. I don't favour any laws that discriminate even if they are religious ones. This includes Indian personal law, which in my opinion is discriminatory.

Can you provide any sources to back that up?

Development under colonial rule was centred on areas that were stable, the population passive and submissive. Places like Bengal were developed more than Pakistan, especially Pashtun areas. This was because the Pashtun and more generally Pakistani areas didn't capitulate like the Indian ones. So the centre of industry at the time of Partition was in India and Bengal not Pakistan.

Hail to the Freedom in Pakistan

There are three things on which I vouch for the claim of freedom in Pakistan. 1. Freedom in Rishwat; 2. Freedom of killing innocents; 3. freedom for the elites to rob the country. There are other minor freedoms but if they have solid examples of major freedom, there is no use of discussing minor freedoms. Pakistan Zinda Bad. Keep the the good tradition of Freedom alive.
