This is your level of respect for pashtuns of pakistan? This is your thinking about us?

    • James, Pakistan is virtually a Punjabi Empire. What you see in Afghanistan is not Pashtun nationalism; it is actually Punjabi nationalism. They fear if NATO/US stabalized Afghanistan, there may emerge a new regional order which would also have repurcussion inside Pakistan, where Punjabis would have to concede power to ajust to new regional realities. Apart from that, they have this elevated sense of power which springs from the Islamic Bomb (in actuality Punjabi Islamic Nuclea Bomb).

All the grand architect of Jehad in this region are Punjabis e.g., Gen Ziaul Haq, Gen Akhtar Abdur Rahman, Gen Hamid Gul, Gen Javed Nasir, Gen Mahmoud Ahmad, etc. although Pashtuns also have acted but mostly as foot-soldier.

In Karachi, Shehbaz Khan and Levanaye Zalmaye are viewed as illiterate people despite the education they have. MQM kills Pashtuns like cockroaches.

Pashtuns of Pakistan are slaves to whom? To Pashtuns? Who told you we are slaves? Aren't the Pashtuns of Afghanistan slaves? Their is a foreign Army in your country not in ours?

In Karachi who told you that I am viewed as illiterate ? Have you ever been to Karachi? We Pakhtuns have got two seats from Karachi and One Provincial minister in Sindh? Does that make us slaves?

A punjabi empire is having Pakhtuns in the federal govt and the same Pakhtuns are in govt in 2 provinces? What you see in Afghanistan is not Pashtun nationalism; it is actually Punjabi nationalism. whats this? :O what an analysis I am deeply inspired as pakhtuns were at home somebody gifted them jihad? Pakhtuns were equally responsible for it as they preferred themselves to be out there for the so called jihad it was the mistake of the pakhtuns !!

Actually you are at PF and here every Pakhtun hates Pakistan. And still even here you will see those who love pakistan and won't think for a second to show their love for pakistan though they know they will face a strong opposition

However, when it was clear that the NWFP assembly would not vote in favor of Pakistan, a psuedoislamic conglomerate of colonial slaves, the Muslim League devised a strategy to circumnavigate this little issue. It became clear to Bachaa Khan that Pakistan wanted this province of Afghanistan that was captured in the late 19th century to become a part of its new state. The very fact that the Muslim League establishment didn't go for a vote in the provincial assembly was indicative of that fact that they would do whatever it takes to take the province. Therefore, it was a foregone conclusion that any referendum would be rigged to provide the result that the establishment wanted. The referendum itself, incidentally, didn't include huge chunks of Pashtun populations and is considered, to this day, as highly suspicious and unreliable.

Shehbaaz Khan, just after one generation of Soviet occupation, Turks from Central Asia were patriotically dying on the front lines of Europe for the sake of their Russian masters. Similarly, Pakistan Studies and PTV have worked their magic on you and you have forgotten 6,000 years of history for the sake of 60 years.

This was the case in Punjab, Sindh and Bengal because there were Non-Muslims too in those provinces? they asked the elected members just because of the separate entity concept that was introduced by Jinnah. If they would have gone for a refrundum there than the majority of the Hindus would have never allowed the Muslims to join Pakistan?
The case of KPK was different Muslims were in majority and they had to join Pakistan but they still wanted to know the opinion of the common man whether they want to join Pak or remain as a separate state? And everyone knows what was the result?

Pakistan studies and PTV .. well its been an year i'vent touched pakistan studies and PTV I don't remember when was the last time i watched it :p
Yet to re-assure you I've been into politics observed every kinda situation and whatever I say is what I personally felt by meeting the people in different areas of KPK. I found that they love pakistan

That is entirely wrong. Where did you get that half-baked logic from? Khyber Pashtunkhwa was an area that had zero to very limited support for Pakistna. In fact in both elections, not one seat went to muslim league. The votes went to the Khudae khidmathgaars. The issue of Pashtunkhwa was contentious to both the british and Pakistan. One for geo-political reasons and the second was that Pashtuns/Afghans of Pashtunkhwa made the bulk of the resistance against Britain. In fact in the region they were the only successful people at doing this (mind you this was after they were politically divided into many portions). The reason it went to referendum was that they wanted to legitimize Pakistan but had to do so that would sideline the political party in power. When KK boycotted it and opted for an independent Pashtun state, the so-called referendum was politically pointless. As only 49.5 % of a boycotted referendum went by way to Pakistan. Mind you this was in a few settled areas that were the closest thing to British colonize Afghan land. Other areas like the state of swat, dir fata and junubii pashtunkhwa were not given this vote. Everyone and their kid will know that just putting trust in political agents and some maliks for this historic decision is deceiving oneself since half of them owed their position to the same British.

We would happily be concerned with ourselves, provided you take your strategic depth India murdabad flaana talk east of the attock. Do that we guarantee you we Pashtuns will be just fine.

Yup, the very same referendum where those who wanted to vote for independent Pakhtunistan and protested for it as well got jailed and only 500.000 ended up voting in the polls of whom 53% (around it) voted for Pakistan. Forgot your own Pak Sarzamin history?

Because the Iranian government own a thing called 'ghairat'; They were against USA yesterday, they are against USA today. Unlike Pakistan, they don't change opinion with the inflation of Dollars.

More accurately, majority of self-professed Pashtuns not necessarily living in Pashtun lands are extremely unsatisfied/hate Pakistan.

                          Uninteresting thus far.

The only reason for tied destinies is because nations agree to split up like that when the large federation is no longer sustainable.

When Yugoslavia split up, the Serbian state was not all Serbian, or Serbian land. Part of it was Albanian, for example.

                            What was the question anyway.

I think you'd be too great to have to bother hating anyone though, unknownprince.

                              • Yes yes of course, the forum is full of Kabulites.

India is NOT any part of any Pashtun lands, and it wouldnt surprise me if quite a few members were from there.

As for Pashtuns hating Pakistan, I don't believe it. I believe the Pashtun Nationalists would though, I believe there's some errors the Pakistani Army has made, but I don't think there's any overall hatred of Pakistan from real Pashtuns in Pashtun lands. They would be self hating in that case.

It's a matter of opinion. I could equally claim as valid that Pashtuns love Pakistan. Certain characters on here might disagree, but it's an irrelevant sample.
