It is not a surprising news, pashtuns of both countries in areas adjacent to durand, move freely across border. For pashtuns durand dont serve as international border.

Pakistan means only Punjab .......they don't care for the other three provinces.....Yesterday in a talk show PML-N's Haneef abbasi said that the other three provinces do not know the importance of Kalabagh dam so they (punjab) are trying to convince.......to this Haji adeel replied that you want to say "che punjabyan rotay khoree au nor khalaq gaya/waakha' " they say it is "Islami Jamhuria Pakistan" but i am sorry to say it is niether islamic nor a democratic state they just want a greater punjab for this they can even destroy the other three provinces by floods....shame on such hypocrites

Actually these people pretty much live on the border and while it is an absolute shame that these people had to go to a foreign country, it is unavoidable considering the demographics of the area and how far our resources are stretched..but yes shame indeed on Pakistan, i never intended to take pride in this at all


@ Admin Khan, no harm done i was just wondering..the thread had been up for a while before i saw your comments..and i would have thought that normally you would have made all the changes and remarks before posting the thread..it is appreciated nonetheless, but to me it is a matter of shame that these people had to cross border to pursue livelihood

As a pashtoon that comes from directly from this fictious border, noone that lives there recognizes the border and never will. You may not be aware, but any police checkpoint that even thinks about checking paperwork about where someone is from, they are attacked by the tribesmen instantly. There are blood realtives that live on both sides and your panjabi brothers can not do anything about seperating those blood lines.

Wrayun wrora partially you are right some of the PSF have garnered a bad reputation, however to be fair to them they are no worse (in fact less) than the ttamiyaan of the other groups. However LZ touched on a good point, that there has been a systematic stigma that is attached on purpose with pashtunpaal people...that any attachment to it is a travesty.

Well, if smart people realize these things, it would be wiser never to give such ammunition to Pukhtoon Nationalism detractors. The unfortunate thing I witness all the time is that believing Pukhtoon Nationalists allow their nationalism to be hijacked in such a way....in that case you can't blame others from pointing to the obvious.

There are more atheists and occultists in Pakistani circles than could ever be in Pukhtoon or Afghan groups, however they are very wise about. You know, they don't take it personal when it comes to religion, nor do they find it their job to prove or disprove the existence of God, that, too, in the matters of politics. It works out pretty well for them. I mean look at them, look at the whole nation, look at the contradictions. Pristinely evident.

Peera ye Pashtuns have to be smarter but that is slowly happening...pragmatism works either when you have enough foresight to see the problems coming or have them knock at your doorstep and are forced to deal with it. Now Pashtuns on both sides saw a realistic effect of the policies of GHQ and/or peerangyaan. Considering this they are forced to employ more pragmatic policies. If they don't we will go the way of the dodo bird.

Peshawar have Pakistani passport. Levanaye Zulmaye, Nokia Apridy all have Pakistani passprot that make them Pakistani. The Article was right who ever wrote it you said that guy but you are wrong. you cant say they are same people when they have different passport. anyone born in Pakistan is Pakistani.
