@Jamaludeen: Here is what (in brief) convinces me to despise the brutality of talibans: Everything for Talibans is adultery; they are insecure men and they have to vent out their frustration and insecurities on men (as in this case), women (the pregnant women that they shot two weeks back), and children (the 7 years old girl that executed).The so-called trials are always unfair, and the families are threatened and tortured to side with them. The victims are beaten to death to confess the crimes as we saw in this case. And not to forget the political gain--the story truly highlights how weak is the present govt of Afghanistan is in protecting the rights of its citizens--the rights given to them by the constitution of Afghanistan.

I am not speaking about love but these Dacing, Mujras, pimps etc.

Gulalai as a Journalist based in Afghanistan I can assure 90percent or more of these reports are based on propagandas. All of my co-workers who are also Journalists are either white or European. They report things they have never took place just to make things sound like Americans are doing a good job and they are in Afghanistan for a reason.

Yes, that flogging video was obviously fake. But if one report is false, it doesn't mean that all reports are fake.

This video isn't fake either.

While some people are saying that the Taliban did a good thing by executing the accused, others are in denial mode, saying that it never happened. It doesn't need to be proven that the Taliban are animals. Their track record speaks loud enough for the whole world to hear.

I wish I could have brought them with me to UK so i could show you all the Shias, Sufis, Tribal elders and even children and women being slaughtered and beheaded for fun.

I had the video of a young 12 year old Pashtun boy who gave an interview before he blew himself up, he attacked the civil hospital in DI Khan and has absolutely no care for all the innocent patients who were slaughtered by him.

I had another video where a woman teacher in Swat was shot and then hanged and her body was being transported by a rope around her neck and her body smashing onto the floor.

Sadly I couldnt bring them over because in UK you will get into trouble if you bring over such material.

If you are refering to the Swat Girl flogging video then let me clarify something with you dear.

Muslim Khan the Swat Taliban spokesman at the time was asked by journalists about the flogging. He said there was no flogging but however we did lash a girl for the same reason but we did not record it and that was not her, he said if it was true the taliban would have killed her for adultery.

Not that i am defending this killing for fun or minor things and i do not defend killing of innocent people.

But why is it always one sided. You know when you drop a missile from an aeroplane and hits human beings, it mutilates their body beyond recognition. WE hear the pilots shouting and joking like its a game, say WOOOHOOO we hit them. But how many enemies do they usually hit, and how many civillians??? Most of the time it is civillians.

So we always see beheadings of a dozen people, that is so barbaric. Yet why don't they show us the mutilated bodies after a bomb strike??? Why is one barbaric yet the other is ignored...

Why are we always biased? If you don't like killing of your civillians, then you wont like it for others. But it seems people don't think like that. They say don't kill our civillians we will kill yours coz its ok
