I generally agree with this. The more sinister aspect of feminism is it ends up making both men and women unhappy. I think its hard wired in a woman to crave a loving husband and have a family. At a young age they are taught this is patriarchy and discriminatory to them. But once they are in their 30s, having pursued some professional career, but without a husband, without kids, and their biological clock is ticking, they soon realize what a mistake they made. Or they will go into self-denial and this will lead to even more resentment of men. This is how feminism is self-destructive to women.

Likewise, the effect on men is that men become less assertive, confident and masculine. Men end up falling behind in society and become dumb downed because they no longer have the opportunity to fulfill the traditional masculine road. They have to compete with women, who are now the majority of college and university students, and compete with women in the workforce. Men are also losing their sense of chivalry because feminism has taught them to no longer be conscious of the sexual dimorphism in the human race.

Then feminism robs women of their femininity (ironic isn't it), because it is based on the premise that men and women should be treated exactly the same and rejects the traditional gender roles. Women are no longer soft, shy, feminine, and also less maternal traits. Feminism is nothing but a war against biology and an example of social engineering. The result will actually be less productive societies in the long run. Already we can see the demographic nightmare, less people getting married, more divorces, less children, labor shortages, more demand for skilled immigration.

Well said, Iblis. But one of the most disgusting traits of modern feminism is how deceitful it is. Third wave feminism wants "equality" with men, but at same time it only focus on women "problems", will trying to bring men down. Feminist want men to treat them the same way we treat each other, while at the same time they want us to slow down in order to allow women reach equality, which is impossible to reach basically because men and women are not equals. Men and women are biologically, genetically, physically and emotionally different.

Also this BS regarding women being discriminate against makes no sense. Men are suffering too. We die younger, most of casualties in wars are men, we suffer more cancer, depression and suicide, we work more hours and harder, almost 100% of work deaths are males, we get harsher prison sentences for the same crimes, and so on.

Eid was never meant to be celebrated simultaneously on a global level. Do we Muslims all pray Salat at the same exact time across the globe? Obviously not, the time of Salat is dependent on the position of the sun at various times of the day. If it is daylight in the Eastern hemisphere it is night in the Western hemisphere.

Similarly, the lunar calendar of Islam is dependent on the phases of the moon. It is self-evident that the visibility of the moon is not the same across the globe at all times. If crescent of the moon is visible in one geographic region doesn't mean it will be visible in a totally different region of the world. The Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed his Umma to observe and end the fast of Ramadan based on the eye-sighting of the crescent.

Whether sighting of the moon in one region of the globe is sufficient for Muslims in another region is an issue of Ijtehad. We also have our proofs that the Companions in different regions of the Middle East did not align their fasts together, but observed them on the basis of local moon sighting.
