So she was stoned to death but the article does not provide the details.

If she was found to be guilty of these crimes, I don't see the problem of the punishment.

I am guessing this is less about the prescribed punishment than the actual punishment which non Muslims find disfasteful.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The whole murder was organized and filmed for radio free europe.

sheikh batman/randolph, before reaching conclusions based on what you read, it's always a good idea to do a little research on your own rather spitting out ill informed opinions.

Harrowing details are emerging regarding the Afghan girl who was stoned to death in western Ghor province of Afghanistan.
According to the local officials, preliminary investigation reveal that the 19-year-old Rukhshana was stoned to death based on a Fatwa issued by a local anti-government militant commander who had repeatedly proposed her to marry with his younger brother.
But Rukhshana rejected the bid by Mullah Yousuf which apparently angered him and his younger brother and they ultimately released a Fatwa to stone her to death last week.
According to reports, the Afghan security institutions have identified at least 20 people who were involved in brutal murder of Rukhshana.
The incident took place in Firoz Koh, the provincial capital of western Ghor province of Afghanistan earlier this week.
Local security officials had earlier said that the girl was convicted of eloping and was stoned to death after they were captured by the Taliban militants.
An outrage was sparked both in Afghanistan and internationally after the horrific video of her execution went viral in social media.
The lawmakers in the Lower House of the Parliament – Wolesi Jirga also called on government to take immediate steps to investigate the brutal execution and detain those involved behind the incident.
They also urged the Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs of the country to spread awareness through the local Mullahs regarding the forced marriages which is considered as the main motive behind the growing violence against women.

There is the pot and the kettle thing again. God, you are infinitely dumber than you let on.

Lets examine your source, shall we? You got from the world renowned Khamaa (sarcasm: that bastion of fact checking and due diligence in reporting )

However, here is what the GOVERNOR actually says in the NY Times loooool:

The stoning in Ghor took place on Oct. 25, in a Taliban-controlled area in Chaghcharan District, where the provincial capital is, according to Abdul Hadi Chelghori, head of the provincial police department’s criminal investigation division. He said the stoning of Rukhshana, as well as the flogging of a young man named Mohammad Gul, 22, whom she had tried to run away with, were ordered by three well-known Taliban mullahs from the area, two of whom are also insurgent military commanders, Afghan officials said.

There was no court to decide this,” said a member of Parliament from Ghor, Sayed Nader Shah Bahr. “They simply brutally stoned the girl to death and lashed the boy.”

The governor of Ghor Province, Seema Joyenda, one of only two female governors in Afghanistan’s 34 provinces, said that Rukhshana had left her husband, but only because she had been illegally forced to marry him.

As a child, she had been engaged to a different, much older man. But when she reached marriageable age, she refused the union and ran away with Mr. Gul instead.

“Rukhshana was a pretty girl and had studied until Grade 6,” Governor Joyenda said. “She was literate and pretty, that was why everyone wanted to marry her, but she would not allow herself to be married to anyone against her will.”

Caught and brought back to her village, she still refused the first arranged marriage, so as punishment her family forced her instead to become the third wife of a 55-year-old man. Again, she ran away with Mr. Gul, and again they were caught.

Since Mr. Gul was not himself married, he was given the lesser punishment of 100 lashes and sent home, where a relative said he was still recovering from his wounds. (The relative, reached by telephone, asked not to be named because of fear of Taliban reprisals.) Because Rukhshana, who goes by just one name, was married, the Taliban condemned her to death by stoning.
Lol, local anti government commander repeatedly proposing to marry her to his younger brother? its fascinating how you decide to read sources that simply validate your viewpoint and run with them before vetting loooool.

Maybe you and Governor Joyenda (a part of that installed government farted out of the as-s of North American Caucasians) ought to get your stories straight before talking? LOOOOOL.

The article goes on to note:

The Taliban are not the only ones carrying out Shariah law punishments in Ghor, or elsewhere in Afghanistan.

Two child brides in a government-held part of Ghor, ages 13 and 14, fled theirhusbands in 2010 and were forcibly returned by the police, then flogged in public. In 2012 in Ghazni Province’s Jaghori District, a government-held area that claims a progressive attitude toward girls’ education and women’s rights, a 15-year-old girl was lashed 101 times after she was accused of having sex with a local tailor, because she was seen alone with him in his shop for a few minutes. After the flogging, she was examined by a doctor and found to still be a virgin. She was left permanently disabled from hip injuries caused by the lashes. The men who flogged her were never punished.
So now, go apologise to Randolph, and in the future before you talk or write, take a moment to connect two neurons and think.

Otherwise, you just embarass the sh-it out of yourself.

yeah, that's all there is to it. she got stoned to death rather than getting 100 lashes because she ran away on a man that she was forced to marry. that's all there is to it.
because when you run away on a man who already has 2 other wives, you have committed a crime whole lot more nastier than the 55 year old man who will not understand what it means when someone that he is married to does not want to live with him to the point where she runs away from him twice.

              not misogynist at all...

hey barikzai, have you ever heard the phrase "go **** yourself"?? go **** yourself.

                No dumb as-s

It boils down to two points

                1. You are an idiot that cites Khamaa thinking no one else has the ability to cross check and confirm your shoddy shi-tty sources.

                2. Your Governor (fellow gholam e perangyaan) and the local officials CONTRADICT your narrative in the khamaa piece which read like a Disney story it was so retarded and contrived.

                3. No one is justifying the stoning. The NY Times article noted that government officials themselves did the same in other areas (including lashing that 15 year old with 101 heavy cord lashes to the point of disabeling her).

But it shows rather, that Afghan tribal culture, in the context of a war ridden society is a heavy mate gaurding society.

Based on evolutionary logic, it was predicted that male jealousy would be more concerned with sexual infidelity and female jealousy would be more concerned with emotional infidelity. Buss, Larson, Westen, & Semmelroth (1992) used a series of forced choice experiments to demonstrate that men indicated greater distress to a partner’s sexual, rather than emotional infidelity, whereas women showed the reverse response displaying greater distress to a partner’s emotional infidelity rather than their sexual infidelity.... Once the emotion of jealousy has been triggered in an individual, it elicits any of a number of behaviors that can be classified under the category of mate guarding or mate retention. The most overt forms of mate guarding include physical intimidation and violence directed toward the perceived rival or toward the mate.

This shows why you are so dumb. You cannot dissect the BASES of these Societal pathologies or understand why they happen. After 15 years of your idiot Canadian Harper monkey and this Monkey and his Texas Baboon predecessor trying to force a society to change at the barrell end of the gun - you have accomplished next to nothing and these events still happen.

Morons like you attempt to somehow link this behavior solely to Mullah Omar or the Taliban - yet the actual issues are that they are ingrained in this rustic and preindustrial population and will only go away when everyone leaves Afghans the f&^* alone and permits them to deal with the matter internally.

So to the contrary - I am rather sure that if the girl was resurrected she would say,

"No DZJ - you go f&**( yourself" LOL.

But I would tell her, its OK, leave my frenemy alone - she missed me in my absence.

look at your pathetic existence.. justifying a man having his wife being stoned to death because she made him jealous... how pathetic. i use a pair of socks for two weeks and by the end of that time, i don't have the heart to throw them away because i have become emotionally attached to them. how can you justify one human being who claims to be the husband of another human being allow for strangers to stone her to death because his feelings are hurt??
if a person does not want to live with you, they don't want to live with you. how that makes you feel doesn't mean ****. but in here what we have is a society giving more importance to the bruised ego of a man over the life of a woman. and this doctor over here with two penny worth of his rotting moral grounds has the audacity to blame it on me and steven harper.

No genius (said sarcastically) - I am telling you that your idiot conclusions about how and why this stuff happens - i.e that the Taliban created it or sustained it or are its only practitioners is as retarded as your set of go to references.

You are just looking the part of the dancing dum-b as-s because your source attempted to link the issue to some random Mullah Younis or Yaqub to validate your support for caucasio monkeys invading, murdering, and massacring Afghans - and got shown to be not just inaccurate, but 99% inaccurate

I don't know, ask him - instead of the made up and conjured figure named Mullah Younis or whatever the bul-l-sh-it was that you contrived and are now trying to brush under the rug.

Niiiiice. Hiding behind your woman card LOOL. As if I give two sh-its about that. Society there will assign important to whatever it wants without your big head deciding for them. Such as their prerogative and they will decide when to change that when the internal pressures increase enough to force change. We see that occurring in India right now where ultrasound abortions of females is being challenged by young men because there is an abundance of young men and to few females in the villages.... biology corrected the insult and society responded on its own without some retard named DZJ or Harper pretending to fix the problem to justify building a smoothie king in Kabul.

and this doctor over here with two penny worth of his rotting moral grounds has the audacity to blame it on me and steven harper.

LOL. No I only assign you blame for your idiot sources that you are too embarrassed to ever link to because you know they are slip shod and sh-itty. Nice try, attempting to save face by turning this intoa "you approve of stoning" dictum.

Were it in my hand, I would have told the girl to get lost and fly a kite. But I certainly wouldn't be as retarded as you, referencing Disney Stories.

LOOOOL. "Speaking against injustice"? What are you in that fantasy world obsessed mind of yours, Wonder Woman?

How was referencing a totally innaccurate, agenda laced source that would pretty much encourage continued and sustained violence by your caucasio silver back gorillas "speaking out against injustice?"

Look in the mirror, your face is the injustice.

if there are members of a society that a stoning women for hurting their feelings or raping them because there aren't enough brides for all of them, don't hold them accountable for their actions.

Lol, yes because using the girl's death to contrive a narrative that makes a "militant commander" named Mullah Younis like some sort of Jaffar seeking out the innocent virginal Snow White is the ULTIMATE justice DZJ -

Especially when fact it was an intra village affair started by her OWN family and appears to be an issue that is endemic to the countryside and rural region.

You didn't just stone the girl, you pretty much shat all over her memory by using the death for a cheap point that you thought you scored because no one would fact check your idiot box source (Khamaa).

NO, NO. it's not their fault.

No, its actually your fault for sustaining the conditions and not understanding causality.

LOOOOL.... yet you are the one citing a disney story version of the events and pretty much raping the memory of the event to serve your own dandruff laced Shamali version of what you wished happened so that your Harper Monkey would go over there and kill some more people.

Nice DZJ - keep reaching for those stars.

                        it's just science and biology..

All human behavior accords with it somehow. If you choose to ignore it and use the wrong approach to solve societal problems (i.e. lies from khamaa and pertending its all Mullah Omar and that no "heroic" Ghani Doggie governmental agent whipped that 15 year old into near paralysis - then you should just drop out of your educational program because your only destination is not college but the zoo.

                        .. shhhh. don't say anything...

Absolutely, if you are going to piss on the victim's memory and contrive absolute garbage for politcal ends - certainly keep that big mouth shut and hide those donkey teeth before they emit more flatus that you think pass for thoughts.

look at how greedy you are. you want to justify her husband taking part in this. you want to justify her family (supposedly) being okay with this and you want to claim that she is a victim that needs to be honored at the same time. oh, and on top of all this, you are sure that this mullah whatever doesn't even exist. because you crafted the census of talib population with your own damn hands.
yeah, i don't think she would give a rat's ass about your sympathy for her after congratulating her murderers..

B Abdali is right. Stoning to death has nothing to do only with Taliban.
It has to do with Islamism. It is an injunction of Sharia.

You are pre-reacting to a statement I never made. I posted an article that destroyed your khamaa narrative that went like this:

Snow White (girl who was stoned) was this innocent beautiful creature walking around. Talib bearded guy sees cute girl and demands her. Snow White, half way to Harvard protests. Her parents and everyone cry tears that turn into diamonds when they hit the mountain snow. Evil Talib stones girl randomly because of unrequited love.... Awesome Ghani and Karzai are like Batman and Superman waiting in the wings to swoop in and take down the big bad bearded Talib and avenge Snow White... because all of this ONLY EVER happens in ALL of Afghanistan because of Mullah Omar and the Taliban. It never happened ever pre 1990s nor did mate gaurding behavior occur in rustic societies before the black turbaned ones appeared.

I pointed out that the family of hers was idiotic in 1) engaging her to the old guy who was not Talib and 2) In recapturing her two times were the initiators of local village customs and mores that more often than not result in bad outcomes for women across Afghanistan

you want to justify her family (supposedly) being okay with this and you want to claim that she is a victim that needs to be honored at the same time.

Bull-sh-it. Yes, her family instigated it - but you using it to score cheap political points with made up crap that the government doesn't even endorse and that was blatantly wrong (e.g. she was already technically married vs the khamaa story of being wanted for marriage)

oh, and on top of all this, you are sure that this mullah whatever doesn't even exist.

LOOOOOL. Oh so now, if Khamaa or Tolo claims something tomorrow: Like DZJ is Mullah Omar's niece - I have to go and prove a likely negative that no corroborating evidence supports? What sort of retarded college did you attend that makes the standard of proof based on "how we feel."?

because you crafted the census of talib population with your own damn hands.

No, that was you that decided to make that allegation to prove some idiotic point that boils down to:

Kabuli Dog washer emigre drunkards >>>> Crazy Talibs so lets go and use the most idiotic version of events that even sub Khamaa diarrhea standards to make your point.

yeah, i don't think she would give a rat's ass about your sympathy for her after congratulating her murderers..

Ahem, where were they congratulated? You mean that congratulating them by pointing out the real instigators of her death and pointing the finger to where it belonged as opposed to you using her to score points against Pashtun fighters you dislike? Yea, with feministas like you, who are self-serving, its no wonder why women issues have actually retrogressed in Afghanistan in the last 15 years.

at the same time, i admit that khaama press is not the most credible source of information

And its retarded, you can say it.... I wont hold it against you.

but wherever your grandpa's hand crafted rock of information tossed from behind some cave reaches me,

LOl. find me a single instance where I have used a low impact factor source. I look forward to that. Otherwise, its you that is resorting to the drunkard ramblings of some mental nitwit that couldnt cut it in the West and had to go back and hoist hegemony on Afghanistan for proof in you rants.

i will be the first to announce it. until then, i am going to stick with khaama press.
