I understand Adam Smith's book might be too long for them. So do they even know what Macro and Micro economics is?
You are stuck with Adam Smith, the guy who copied ideas from this muslim scholar. Ibn Khandul.

The pak elites are just selling their country. They are not that much different from Ghani/Karzai. Sell everything and then run to the West.

Its a very simple scam. Its like if you and me go to Afghanistan, get positions in government that US corps give us, sell the country to US Corps, and then return back to America and live the high life. It seems now that China is now learning how to buy something without really buying it.

Pakistan is building new motorways, some already complete.

Motorway M-8 will be completed in couple of months which will connect Gwader to Rotedoro. Which mean trucks no longer have to go to Karachi first and then to northen parts. This will save 400km and most importantly Gwader will become 2nd port city officially. Independent from Karachi.

i had some cousins that bought some land over there and later it was revealed that the same plot of land was sold to like 20 different people and this was widespread. The dispute is still on going.

I'm assuming you live in Pakistan? in a functioning, real economy everything is in writing and most is available to the public. They should be a detailed plan on how and where every penny will be spend. As well as what corporations and contractors being used to complete the project

Well that road has been underconstruction for many years now. In fact construction started in 2004 according to this. 892km long motorway.

                                http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M8_motorway_(Pakistan)

But should be completed by next month.
