I have no problem with stoning but it is a woman's choice to marry who she wishes. The people responsible for this murder should be punished accordingly.

    Keep it up, Pakistan
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

When you say 'keep it up Pakistan' you're implying that these extra-judicial honor killings only happen in Pakistan when in fact they happen all over the Muslim world and even in Hindu countries like India and Nepal; stop being so ignorant, Afghanistan is no better in fact possibly worse when it comes to it's treatment of women with some of the unislamic edicts these extra-judicial male-dominated hujras pass out.

This is an example of what evolutionary biologists call mate guarding. they happen in all societies including the West with a different twist.

But the main question here is why did the police allow this to happen and why was the husband of this victim not punished for the murder of his first wife.

The number of times i have heard of such barbarity emanating from pakistan and india recently (with the currently in news rape to two sisters and their hanging corpses) within our sphere makes this ugliness raise its ugly head so saliently.

Of course it happens all over, but this is right now and right here.

Crux is nothing happens. Did you hear the comments made by that indiam politician yadrav? "Boys will be boys and they make mistakes and shouldn't be executed", thats what he said commenting on demands for death. Rape and murder deserve execution.

Possibly worse? a claim like that demands evidence.

What are these unIslamic edicts that you speak of or are you just assuming because Afghanistan has a negative connotation when it comes to women?

Between court rulings where women are to raped, actions like this one and other strange stories coming out of that country... ummmmm at least you have nukes?

seriously? It's on the record, Afghanistan is just as bad when it comes to it's treatment of women, forced marriages, honor killings, fgms, infanticide, cutting womens noses off, child marriages etc

I'm not saying that these incidents don't in Pakistan, they sure do, and i'm not comparing it to Afghanistan, but people living in houses made of glass shouldn't be throwing stones at other people.

Your hate for Pakistan makes you oblivious to all the ills in your country.

In Pashtun homes, hurting the wife is an offense against her family. So few people dare hurt wife (family issues notwithstanding) for the risk of "dangerous" retribution from the wife's family.

But that doesn't mean Pashtun women are not oppressed. They are oppressed and their rights are denied.

Stop being so trivial and stick to the topic. A pregnant woman was beaten to death outside a court in broad daylight. The circumstances around her life/her husband's former wife's death/previous police encounters are a little unclear, but the fact remains a woman, with child, is dead and people just watched a mob beat her to pulp.

I have long abandoned quoting troll posters, but on this occasion I'm doing so to remind you to show a little respect.

Don't try to make me jealous because I'm sensitive.
