PAKISTAN—A pregnant woman was stoned to death

The paradox is that the media tagged this as an 'honour' killing. Give it that kind of a label and you almost give the perpetrators justification. In this day and age calling that kind of thing honorable is a feeble attempt to malign. Simply put it was murder. And that too outside the courts in broad daylight.

lets say someone walk into a pakistan court. and a group of people with stones attack out of the corners with pakistani police standing left and right. You have a option to feel safe because of the police but police stand there and don't do anything.Originally posted by tor_khan View PostThe paradox is that the media tagged this as an 'honour' killing. first of all the media is using the term stoning for this brutal murder. while relatives hold the girl and another was hitting her head with a brick. the pakies are cruel last year they killed two brother causing the of stealing. pakies have no mercy on any one wether this be a man or a woman.

Where was the police? . There are usually lot of people outside courts, what were they doing?. Shooting some one with gun is instantaneous, but stoning in such a busy place where police is present all the time? This is capital city of punjab we are talking about, not some remote village.History of Pashtuns

An intelligent punjabi girl from kot adu, muzafarnagar is added with me on facebook, we some times talk on phone. She once told me that, today she fell unconscious on street, when she saw a man of her Mohallah beating her wife's head with a brick, openly on street with people around. His wife head was bleeding profusely and sitting on ground, half-conscious , she was feebly attempting to stop her husband from hitting her head with brick.Originally posted by afghan View Postfirst of all the media is using the term stoning for this brutal murder. while relatives hold the girl and another was hitting her head with a brick. the pakies are cruel last year they killed two brother causing the of stealing. pakies have no mercy on any one wether this be a man or a woman.
Now this dont happen in villages and town of pakhtunkhwa. Domestic violence is every where but beating your wife to death, throwing patrol at her and burning her alive or disfiguring her with acid or cutting her nose??. Pashtuns have usually combined families, men mostly spend their day time at hujras. Their wives also come from strong families who dont accept violence on their sisters or daughters.History of Pashtuns

If everyone stoned to death sexually perverted female relatives, there won't be sexually perverted female relatives, and by that evolutionary logic all women would be... Oh, wait a second, that would be Afghanistan... That's right, if it wasn't the fear of stoning and many other forms of cruel death, Afghan women would be like Thai women or any other sex tourist destination women.
The simple reality is that if you live in a culture where your hormones could get you stoned to death, well, control your hormones.
