If I start mention selling of women and bacha baazi among Pashtuns then I will automatically become the villain.

Yar, zara izzat se baat kaaro. Yeh toh nainsaafi hain.
I agree with you. You are 100% right. Just because of 1-2 bad Pashtuns, the entire Pashtun ethnic group should not be judged. Just because of 1-2 Punjabis, the entire Punjabi group should not be judged. There are a ton of awesome, intelligent, warm-hearted, and helpful Punjabis in the world. I condemn anyone who tries to label an entire group with an action of a few. Punjabis, Tajiks, are the Muslim brothers of Pashtuns, no doubt about it.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Mob justice is very common in punjab. A person will be blamed for some thing and people nearby will attack him without confirming the truth. Many innocent people gets killed and burnt alive by mobs in punjab for false charges. You wont believe it, women are paraded naked in streets, it frequently occurs in punjab. You wont observe it in pakhtunkhwa.
thats how the pakies want pashtun tribes to be civilized.

This sordid display of degeneracy and disregard for human life can probably somehow be linked to horribly distorted views on sexuality and rampant sexual repression embedded within their culture.

The point is, rural punjab is very jahil and uncivilized. Rural pashtun might be illiterate but he is not jahil. He follows simple islam , is cultured and has code. You will find pashtun in every part of pakistan. Tablighis have told me that there are many rural areas of punjab where people cant recite Quran, dont know how to pray salat. A kashmiri told me that two decades ago there were only few empty mosques in their villages, now pashtuns have revived the mosques and are inviting people to salat.
Pakhtuns might be poor and backward but they are not digging graves for meat, parading women naked on streets, delivering mob justice, gang-raping women in open, throwing acid on the faces of women, raping baby girls , raping dead corpses etc. Pakis make fun of india for their high ratio of rapes but their punjab itself is very similar to india.

There may be some truth in what smarty says. I searched and found the following report that says 79% gang rapes occurred in Punjab over the period 2008-2013. I have visited Punjab villages. Rural population is far backward than that of KP. But villages in Sindh are even worse.

Rural population of KP is more educated, democratic, and clean-looking relative to these two provinces.[/SIZE]

"As many as 1,075 women were gang-raped (202 in 2008, 202 in 2009, 237 in 2010, 225 in 2011 and 209 case were reported in 2012 in the Punjab during the 5 years, which shows that 78.69% of gang rape incidents occurred in Punjab as over 1,366 cases were reported through out the country, The figure revealed that 832 people were kidnapped for ransom in five year – 213 in 2008, 174 in 2009, 146 in 2010, 184 in 2011 and 115 in 2012 - while 67,690 persons were kidnapped or abducted as 11,279 were kidnapped in 2008, 11,972 in 2009, 13,820 in 2010, 15,035 in 2011 and 15,584 in 2012."

              The full report is here.

Here is another report I found, this one by FEFEN.

"While 17 cases of honour killing were registered in August, the number rose to 27 in 13 districts in September. Region-wise, 59% of the total such FIRs were filed in six districts in Punjab, 26% in Sindh's five districts, 11% in Nasirabad district in Balochistan and one such incident registered in district Dera Ismail Khan in KP. There was no case recorded in ICT.

Out of 16 such incidences registered in Punjab, four each were reported in Faisalabad and Sahiwal districts, while three each were recorded in Pakpattan and Gujranwala. Crimes against women are generally regarded as the outcome of certain socially sanctioned prejudices, against them, especially in rural and largely inaccessible tribal areas where restrictions are imposed on their mobility and gender intermixing. However, data suggests these might be prevalent in developed urban centers as well. During the reporting month, the most honour killing cases were reported in districts in Punjab.

There were 228 FIRs lodged for rape in 47 districts. Of these, 83% or 190 were reported in 26 districts in Punjab, 9% in 13 in KP, 7% in seven districts in Sindh and two such cases registered in Quetta district in Balochistan.

Of the 190 rape FIRs in Punjab, 25 were registered in Rahimyar Khan, followed by 17 in Gujranwala, 15 each in Faisalabad and Okara, 14 in Bahawalnagar and 10 each in Pakpattan and Sahiwal. Together these districts constituted 56% of all rape cases recorded in Punjab. Similarly, nine out of 22 rape cases registered in Sindh were reported in Karachi (West).

The most frequently reported crime against women was that of forced marriage for which 447 FIRs were filed in 28 districts. Almost half of these FIRs (49%, 218) were lodged in nine districts in Punjab with Sheikhupura reporting the most cases (52). Faisalabad followed with 50 and Okara was third with 23 cases.

Thirty nine percent of the total FIRs for this offence were reported in 11 districts in Sindh, 8% in five districts in KP, 3% in ICT and 1% in Balochistan. In Sindh, 80% of the total registered cases of forced marriages (124) were reported in Karachi (West) and 14 in Hyderabad.

Twenty three districts in Punjab accounted for 85% of the total 191 FIRs registered for assault on women's modesty in 31 districts. The regions of KP, Sindh and Balochistan constituted 8%, 4% and 3% of all such cases. The highest reporting districts for this offence in Punjab were Gujranwala (21 FIRs), Multan (19), Okara (16) and Layyah (13).

There were 84 FIRs registered in seven districts for offences relating to marriages. All these districts were in Punjab. No other region reported this offence.

Faisalabad recorded the most such FIRs (23) followed by 22 in Multan, 16 in Muzaffargarh and 13 in Sargodha."

Latest news of today ,a punjabi throws acid on the face of 20 year old girl after she refused to marry him.
A man has allegedly thrown acid on an 18-year-old girl after she refused to marry him, in the latest such incident in Pakistan's Punjab province. Kaneez Fatima was returning from market yesterday when two motorcyclists intercepted her in Lahore's densely populated area of Shahdara and threw acid on her, eyewitnesses said. She was rushed to hospital where doctors said she had suffered 40 per cent burns. Fatima has acid burns in her face also. Victim's father Rafaqat Ali told police that Ghulam Mustafa wanted to marry his daughter. "On refusal, he had warned us of dire consequences. Yesterday Mustafa along with his friend Muhammad Asif threw acid on Fatima," he said. Police have registered a case against the accused and arrested them. On April 8, a 20-year-old Pakistani girl was severely injured when two persons threw acid on her in Lahore apparently to force her to withdraw a rape case against one of them. In February, a woman and her 12-year-old daughter suffered serious ...
