India is rich we agree but on the basis of GDP not on the basis of Per capita

Pakistan since 1947 has highe per capita than India

The only time period they crossed us was between 2008-2012.

As per IMF Indain GDP shrink to 1.7trilliion dollars this year

      Hence Indian Per capita

1.7trillion(Indian FY is march to march) dollars by 1260million population=1349dollars
272Billion dollars(Pakistan FY june to june hence using June 2014) by 181Million population Per capita=1502$

      India 2013=1349$
      Pakistan 2013=1505$

      Next year

Pakistan growth rate more than 5%
India 3.7% But since the last quarter growth rate was 4.7%.Hence they may clock 4%

Even the Pakistani GDP is getting higher and the difference is getting bigger and in favour of Pakistan.

India always will have Higher GDP than Pakistan Since they have larger country and big resources including 6.8times higher population

      Afghanistan per capita
      GDP 21Billion dollars
      Population 30Million

      =700$

      NOTE:I am using Nominal terms.

      In PPP terms

      Indian Per capita=3800$
      Pakistan per capita =3500$
      Afghanistan per capita=1000$

Let suppose if Pakistan GDP grows by 5% this year compared to 2.9% last year.

Our GDP will increase to 279billion dollars with 5% or 261Billion dollars by 2.9%

Now the percapita break down for

            279b$=1550$
            261b=1475$

Now this is a big difference of 75$.

This also mean next year the National Budget will be higher.

Higher national Budget means More development,Infra,Educations spending=In long run more jobs,Better educated youth etc etc.

Economic growth rate is the only indicator that can do wonders for any country.

Just look at India.they are growing on average 7% since 1990.

In 1981 Pakistan per capita was 2.3times more than India. But today there per captia is higher than us.

in 2000 India had 37% people living under poverty line while pakistan 27%.

But today we still are struck at 22% and they 23.5% and may cross us in 2-3years.

            So these indicators does matter.

The rest i am a PHD in india's matter.Actually i am having online discussion with them even when i was in class 8th. :D
I am a Chartered Accountant and I tell you these facts and figures are misleading you .. You don't need to explain this **** to me I do all this budget evaluation all the time.

Well sir it is indeed good to know about you.

But these facts and figures does matter.

Higher Growth always mean a better and growing Economy which affect poors the most.

Higher Growth gives to a Greater increase in GDP which in turn means a Much Greater budget.

Let suppose if Pakistan GDP today was 500Billion dollars Than our kpk Budget instead of 397billion pkr would had been 800billion pkr.

Which means Double spending on each Individual of KPK.

In the end these figure does matter.

In Pakistan it doesnt matter yet because the GDP is still small but in countries like India, china,Brazil and USA.Even under 0.1% Difference in growth rate makes alot of noise.

I was checking out the past growth of Pakistan.

This is probably the highest Growth rate since 2006.

In 2004 Pakistan economy grew by 8.4%

In 2005 it directly drop to 4.9% Because of the earthquakes

In 2006 Pakistan GDP grew by 5.8%.

But onwards the terrorism in 2007.The Economy grew by 4.8%

So Pakistan is now growing beyond 5% After 7 long years. And it is nearly confirmed that Next year growth will be no less than 6%.

I had calculated the Pakistani GDP Future with respect to its growth rate and even accepted by Jagnijit singh.

My prediction in 2010 was 256b $ for 2015.But later Pakistan GDP grew by higher %age and i used 3.7% till 2013 and 4.5% for Both 2014 and 2015 and Pakistan GDP by 2015 with such Growth rate would had been 304billion dollars by 2015.

But with the Growth rate of 5.1% This year and 6.5% Next year. Our GDP will reach 337billion dollars by 2015(FY 2015 june to 2016june).

Which is a direct Increase of 80Billion dollars Roughly.

                Under this calculation.

Pakistan will change the GDP base to 2010 and 2011 by 2016 Which will mean an addition of 35% informal GDP to the existing Formal GDP.

With 7% average growth rate(Not real growth rate.Change in Pakistani currency i am calculating.)We will reach 840Billion dollars by 2020.

It means we will have a Per capita income close to 5000Dollars or similar to Iran of 2014.
