    1. Algeria is the largest country in Africa.

    2. It is the 2nd largest state (population) in the Arab world

    3. Algeria has the biggest defence budget in Africa.

    4. Like Bangladesh, Algeria faced problems from radical "Islamists" but crushed them them in the 1990s and now the economy is doing well.

Despite the increased dangers for Algeria's oil and natural gas industry, its economic backbone, "thanks to oil and gas revenues, the Algerian state has gone from an international financial basket case in the 1990s, to one of the richest in the world, with as much as $200 billion in reserves," the Financial Times observed.

Bangladesh generally has negative media image in the Arab world due to Pakistan's influence and the influence of Jamaat e Islami (anti-Bangladeshi terrorist organization) with its links with radical "Islamists" and the Muslim Brotherhood, all of whom malign Bangladesh's independence struggle and vilify the country in general.

So the fact that the 2nd biggest country in the Arab world supports Bangladesh is warmly welcomed by us.

Algeria's powerful army, one of the biggest in the Arab world.

We hope Bangladesh and Algeria can work together to combat extremism and terrorism. We hope Algeria bans the radical "Jamaat e Islami" terrorist organization from Algeria and also Yusuf Qardawi, anti-Bangladeshi, pro-Jamaati propagandist from Algeria. He has already been banned from Egypt and Kuwait.

Yusuf Qardawi, banned from Kuwait and Egypt. The Egyptian government have brought charges against him. He is almost certainly banned from Bangladesh where the government would not allow this pro-radical preacher to enter our country.

Algeria, a traditional ally of Bangladesh in the Arab world and recognized the country's independence in an early manner.

      1. Stay out of my threads. They are not for Al-Qaeda supporters like you.

      2. Al-Qaeda is a failed organization and controls no state in the Muslim World and has been crushed in many places e.g. Algeria.

          - Wahabism comes from the Najd. The Najd is not known as a place of great Islamic learning and Allah subahanahu wa ta'ala has condemned the bedouin Arabs, "Al 'Arab".

          Quran, Surah 9. verse 97:

9.97. The Bedouin Arabs are (by nature) more stubborn in unbelief and hypocrisy (than the city-dwellers), and more liable to be unaware of the bounds prescribed by God in what He has sent down on His Messenger. God is All-Knowing (of the nature and state of His servants), All-Wise.

Allah described the Al A'raab as possesing the qualities of:

          1. Kufr (Disbelief)

          2. Nifaq (hypocrisy)

and said they are the the "as-shaddu" (comparative of "shadeed", meaning "harsh) in these qualities.

There are also alleged ahadith claiming that the holy prophet Hadhrat Muhammad SolAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam condemned the Najd.

Abdul Wahab, the founder of the Wahabis comes from the Najd.

We see now Wahabis through out the world causing trouble and killing Muslims. This is promoted by Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia, from the facebook group: I'm Muslim, I'm against Wahabism.

As for Pakistan, it is a British-created state whose first army commander was Sir Francis Messervy, first governor of Punjab was Sir Francis Mudie.

Pakistan is essentially a greater Punjab and it is well known that Punjabis have a lot of Hindu influence in their culture.

Pakistan has slaughtered and raped more Muslims than Israel.

So neither Wahabis or Pakistanis can be thought of as superior to Muslims from regions like North Africa or Bengal in terms of understanding and teaching Islam.
