Sorry to say Badlun but the fact is that secularism is barbaric and secular minds are harsher than the others. The demonstrations we have seen in Egypt in Turkey in France and so many many other countries. They do what they like. So I would never ever like to go for secularism. What proof we have that the teacher assaulted her? She can make things up to draw attention. Why she mentions then the veil issue why she does not straightforwardly talk of assault and harassment. I am not for assault and harassment but yes for the opposition to veil especially covering the face.

In many foreign countries I have seen that it is mandatory for doctors to shave daily and women to come with pleasant personality so that patients have positive impression of the doctor.

Covered face can be a jinn, ghost, devil or a criminal not of a normal human being.

Why would she lie and put herself in danger and potentially risk her academic career? There doesn't seem to be any motive to lie. It would put her in more danger than him.

There's other ways to oppose the veil than to dictate to people what is not their business, it's not his business whether she chooses to veil

If this is true then that Bangash teacher should be punish for his act.

In pashtun society we have great respect for women and by touching somoene,s daughter etc is a big crime.People got killed for such crimes.

Last time I checked you considered Badlun to be a Muslim. So it is not a surprise.

Prohibiting or opposing any aspect of Islam is a specific type of kufr. Its the same type of kufr as promoting or permitting a prohibited matter in Islam.

Facial veil is an established sunnah which some, like the hanafis, consider to fard/waajib.

Every adult Muslim living in a muslim society with hundreds of masajid and ulema is supposed to know that.

If Rahim Bangash denies that facial veil is from Islam, that would be still kufr. But a different type of kufr which is called kufr juhood.

So either way, he is a kaafir. No doubt about it.
