Bangladesh, a holy land of Islam

Bangladesh at this point in time has about 4 million students studying the Quran, with Islamic centres expanding.

This is in addition to the previous generations that have studied the Quran.

Bangladeshis regularly win international Quran competitions, e.g. this boy:

Also in the next video are Bangladeshis in the UK (I actually know some of the people that organize this). The person behind this is basically a "wali" (saint of Allah) and his father is a big scholar in Bangladesh, who saved both Hindus and Muslims during our liberation war against the traitor American-backed Pakistan army.

This scholar is from Boruna in the Sylhet division (my division) in Bangladesh.

So whatever our enemies such as Saudis, Wahabis, Pakistanis, Afghan nationalists and others would like to say Quran is recited regularly in Bangladesh and in terms of the words of Allah being recited, Bangladesh is the most densely packed space on earth where the words of Allah are recited and where mala'ikha (angels) thus come with all the blessings that entails.

However my personal favourite reciter of the Quran is an Egyptian, Muhammad Jibreel. I have prayed behind him in Taraweeh in the central London mosque in the past.

A person told me that he reads 6 ajiza (plural of juz) of the Quran every day. I do not know if this is true.

Good for bangladesh but why this hate against Pakistan and saudi arabia?

Pakistani has no interest in Bangladesh anymore.we have alot of problems at home already and Saudi's are racist toward everyone from south asia in KSA.be them Pakistani,Bangladeshis or indians

1. Pakistan sponsors radical groups in Bangladesh and interferes in Bangladesh. Last year the Bangladeshi military itself, which is a responsible organization and hardly speaks in public, clearly made a thinly-veiled reference to Pakistani involvement in attempts to organize a coup to overthrow the democratically elected government of Bangladesh.

The coup plotters were apparently affiliated to extremist "Islamist" groups such as Hizbut Tahrir.

Imagine Bangladesh was helping out people trying to overthrow the Pakistani government?

2. The Pakistani regime also supports "Jamaat e Islami", a group which officially recognizes Bangladesh but which in reality is known to be against the existence of the country and wishes to make Bangladesh a part of Pakistan again. It is people from this party that dominate the controversial "defence.pk" forum.

The son of the founder of "Jamaat e Islami" Maudoodi, came from Pakistan to Dhaka recently to attend a conference and said the Jamaat should not be in Bangladeshi politics.

A son of Jamaat-e-Islami founder Syed Abul A’la Maudoodi believes that the religion-based party should not be allowed to continue politics in Bangladesh since it opposed the country’s birth.

In an exclusive interview with the Dhaka Tribune last night, Syed Haider Farooq Maudoodi, one of Maudoodi’s nine children, said parties that opposed a nation’s birth should not have the right to do politics in that country....Asked if Jamaat in Bangladesh and Pakistan had any relation between them even after 42 years of Bangladesh’s liberation, Haider Farooq said the two parties in the two countries were “just the left and right hands of the same person there is only one head controlling the both.”

Imagine Bangladesh controlled a party in Pakistan which was against the existence of Pakistan and wanted to make Pakistan part of India again?

3. Pakistan also sponsors other terrorist groups and radicals in Bangladesh and we have had to capture and expel terrorists.

4. Pakistan interferes in Bangladeshi domestic affairs by for example the well-known thug Asif Zardari (former president of "Pakistan") breaking all diplomatic protocol and issuing statements in support of war criminals in Bangladesh, interfering in a case.

The new PML-N government is better and refuses to interfere in our domestic affairs, whereas the heavily Shia PPP was the party behind the 1971 genocide and well-known for its anti-Bengali racism.



Asif Zardari, or "Mr 10%", a well-known thug. A Sindhi feudal landlord who is widely hated in Pakistan and son-in-law of the man behind the 1971 genocide, Bhutto. Zardari interfered in Bangladeshi domestic affairs and supported war criminals.

5. Pakistan gives refuge to war criminals including Bacchu Razakar, who has fled to Pakistan.

6. Pakistan works with the Saudis and the other gulf states in de facto isolating and pressurizing Bangladesh, when Bangladeshis chose to vote for an Awami League government. This includes:

- Saudi blocking recruitment of workers from Bangladesh when the Awami League is in power.

- The Saudi regime harassing Bangladeshi workers in Saudi when the Awami League is in power. This is not even reported in the media, but I know because when I went to Hajj last year my cousin in Medina told me. For example our foreign minister, Dipu Moni (a woman so thus not popular with the Saudis) discussed something, the Saudis got furious so to exert "soft pressure" they told the police to look for Bangladeshis and harass them.

At the end of the day, what does it matter to Saudi Arabia if we chose an Awami League government?

How is Saudi effected?

It isn't.

Are there mosques? Do we pray? Do we still follow Quranic-based inheritance and family laws? Is alcohol still banned?

YES.

Legally we are more Islamic than Turkey, Tunisia, Central Asian countries, Azerbaijan etc.

It has no impact on Saudi whatsoever and it is merely a case of Saudi working to please the Pakistanis and also Saudis bullying.

However the Saudi regime can bully us, but there will be serious payback and I personally have made du'a for the destruction of that regime and tribe.

So Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are enemies of Bangladesh, we will see what happens to these two states who are working together to bully Bangladesh.

However as the British, Hindus, Americans and others found out Bengalis will prevail.

The Pakistanis have a lot of influence in Saudi and all the time Pakistanis and Jamaatis whisper to the Saudis and incite them against us and lie about us (as Jamatis lie on defence.pk) trying to portray Bangladeshis as crypto-Hindu.

On another thread, two times without me saying anything about the Hindu influence in Punjabi/Sindhi culture a Pakistani nationalist kept on saying Bangladesh is Hinduized and when I finally responded an Ikhwani moderator came in to defend him, though he had started the whole talk of people being "Hinduized".

There is so much more I could say about the negative influence of Pakistan in Bangladesh but the final point is this.

Pakistan seeks to sabotage India-Bangladesh relations.

India is not perfect. New Delhi is indeed a bully and dishonest. However we can resolve our issues with them. What the Jamatis in defence.pk don't say is that since the Awami League government in Bangladesh (not that I support them, I prefer the other party but am objective) border killings by India have decreased compare to when the pro-Pakistan BNP was in power.

Pakistan seeks to sabotage relations between India and Bangladesh and make us hate each other for a number of reasons.

- It believes Bangladesh is spiritually a lost province and cannot bear to see it have good relations with India, because spiritually as a "part of Pakistan" it must like Pakistan itself be in an emotional war with India.

- It seeks to weaken India and wants to use Bangladesh to sponsor separatists in North east India to weaken India. This will of course anger India and result in payback against Bangladesh. This will harm Bangladesh. Who suffers, 150 million Bangladeshis. Do the Pakistanis suffer? No.

They are using us as a tool to weaken India.

This is why the ISI supports Jamaat and others to constantly promote hatred of India. Dislike of India is one thing, but these Jamaatis will never be pleased with India even if it is the best neighbour on earth and want a Hindu-Muslim war and to fight India.
