  • Taliban publicly execute man, seize sheep

CHAGHCHARAN (PAN): The Taliban have publicly executed a young man on the charge of supporting the government in western Ghor province, an official said on Wednesday.
The rebels shot dead Firoz in front of a crowd on Tuesday evening, two days after the 20-year-old was seized from the Somak area of Dawlatyar district.
Ghor crime branch chief, Col. Noor Ali Asir, told Pajhwok Afghan News the man was killed on the charge of supporting the government, but he was an ordinary citizen.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.
Elsewhere in Ghor, militants forcibly snatched away 1200 sheep from three shepherds and detained them in Ghalmin area on the outskirts of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital.
A resident of the area, Abdul Khaliq Haidari, said the militants moved the sheep and the shepherds to Charsadda district. He said the Taliban had warned of similar actions against those supporting the government.
“Taliban torture people in different ways. Now they have started seizing sheep of civilians,” said Haidari, who asked security officials to protect livestock owners from insurgents.
The Ghor crime branch chief said the Taliban had shifted the stolen sheep to Korkin area of Charsadda district, where the government’s writ did not exist.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

aren't we obliged to believe the words of a muslim?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Former governor of Ghor who is tied to Ismail Khans faction was at our university for a seminar. He bragged about his militia which in the thousands according to various media.

He asked a former Dutch general for money and weapons.

These people roam around freely and terrorize the people there.

Recently I posted a report about many fake non-existent girls schools in Ghor for which these people received funding.

Nobody knows much about Ghor because it doesnt have a high strategic value. But since it is so far away and virtually unknown to many people, it is much easier to lie about it.

The former governor no longer has an official job. He has a Dutch pasport and he travels freely back and forth. In Ghor he murders and tortures people and receives money allocated for schools. His own family and kids are here in Holland enjoying education and freedom.
