What about the 10 years he spent in prison... will the other family spend that time in prison? or will he get extra punishment with his "an eye for an eye and then some?"

If this kid was a bully and was threatening then go ahead give it to him... but what if it were an accident or any unforeseeable act, or circumstances that lead to it? What if he is mentally ill?
