oh, so you expected them to do that eleven years ago, when there was no afghan military men and women to train?
so why are they training them now, if they have no plans for afghan air force?
stop diverging khushal. you have a bad habit of this.

training a couple of people(eleven years later at that) isnt an air force. the taliban had a better air force then the current government which is unbelievable but true.

according to wikipedia, there already is an 'afghan air force' with 5,000 personnel and 112 aircraft.
i do hope your negative attitude proves to be unfounded and that afghanistan improves and is successful.

                            pessimist?.......eleven years later........realist

that airforce you regard so highly is not an afghan airforce that represents afghanistans diverse ethnic makeup. It is a hazara airforce.

Who cares if it represents Afghanistan or not?? It's training afghan pilots which is why it should be appreciated. An air base that should represent Afghanistan the way you want it to does not exist because of people who think the way you do.
If you want an air base to represent afghans, feel free to build one.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.
