The other day I saw an informercial for "GLO Skin Whitening System" on an Indian channel.
Nothing new, but this particular one went so far as to justify changing one's skin tone because "Indians are born light-skined, but external factors like the sun and dirt make us brown" and then they showed the fake story of a travelling salesman who got promoted to manager becuase he use this product to look White and more people let him in their house. Foolishness.

It's interesting though... People in Australia Bask in sun for hours to be darker..while..indian want to be..whiter..

Dont know much...so far i have heard it is forbidden if no wedding or if particular instruments are used...eg tambourine is allowed all the time i think..alim is to be consulted on this issue....people do listen however for enjoyment alot.There was no restriction to music in old times...like prophet David pbuh's time.

No, you're arguing against your own straw man arguments.

My position is still consistent. .....as for what I said here; there was once a time when it was completely unimaginable of a Pashtun woman ever even letting a farangi come within 10 feet of her.

Now there are Pashtun women who let ferangi men inside of them. I find that as revolting as anyone else; but it's reality and it won't do us any good to pretend it's not happening or pretend that those Pashtaney are outside the fold of being Pashtun. That's what I meant by "Pashtun ghairat" flying out the window. Your problem is you haven't learned to have a beyond 7th grade reading level. And thus don't have a sense for context.
