When ever an indian is remembered of the tribes of Paktiya,he will never dare to take a step in afghanistan, except he is welcomed.

Large tribal laskars of paktiya supported the afghan government in the past to take part in the expeditions to india, elsewhere like into north, every time afghanistan was at war.

Guys calm down, even if this story is true, .....who cares ....but the fact that they have such a Wishy Washy ...and ambiguous description of a woman with no pictures or anything else in fact there are siimilar News stories like this in Indian newspapers about an Afghan woman named "muska" who converted to "Sikhism and married some Sikh pilot in India. and other really vague and obscure tales. They evven have a story about an Arab woman converting to Hinduism when she went to study in India ....lot of really zany stories which have no pictures or references or confirmation. Indian news papers are like Tabloid Newspapers in America.

but even if this story is false I know members of Zahir Shah's family, who's daughters have married Italian Catholic men ...it's widely known actually; so this idea of "Pure Ghairatmand Pashtuns" ....is a thing of the past.

              sad but true.

Most Indians have never even heard of Paktya, calm down. There was no Afghan Government incursions into India from Paktya, let's not make up history.

yes but that is not same as "Afghan Government" ..and most of the tribes that went were Qandaharis , Balouch and Qazalbash mercenaries, never any Paktyawal tribes.

paktiyawals lead huge battlion of fighters, and one of our commanders which name you will find in British files,is Schabaz Khan Paktyawal and Pate Khan Paktyawal, both were leaders of Paktia tribal laskhars.

May Allah bestow mercy upon both,
Schabaz Khan (or also called Chargul Khan ) was captured in Delhi prison by Britsch and India warriors, after their infantry men were ambushed.

                              Also Third-Anglo-Afghan War:

Afghan forces achieved success in the initial days of the war, taking the British and Indians by surprise in two main thrusts as the Afghan regular army was joined by large numbers of Pashtun tribesmen from both sides of the border.
