This is the ground reality, which one would expect on any given Friday in Kabul or Kandahar. Like I said, they are thirsty for the weekends.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.
A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Shamlawar, are you intentionally trying to not read properly? I am not trying "to disprove it's a sex resort". All I am asking for is the evidence, and all I've said thus far is ordinary Afghans do indeed go to Qargha lake. On top of this, what I've said is they stormed the hotel, yelling "Where are the hoes" and the answer is right behind Badshahi Mosque. In conclusion, innocent Afghans died once again. Some were expatriates, who tried to give their country another shot. Boy did it not work out for them. As I said before, if prostitutes did exist in the region, why not attack it's hub?Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostI dont know why you are trying so hard to disprove that that place is a sex resort.
This attan could be on the lower side of the hill, or on the western coast of the lake. It could be next to the old golf-resort or it could be on the southern side towards the old Paghman road.
But it is certainly not on the northern lake side.
I am from Kabul. I use to go to Qargha every other weekend when I was a child long before the place changed into what it is now.
And even back then, there were some really infamous restaurants there.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

According to the Taliban, there are no borders. So it's just a few miles away from them in their own Islamic territory. But no, rather than focusing on that, they would rather try their luck and randomly storm a hotel to see if they can find any. Perhaps walking all the way to Lahore might get them exhausted. Or maybe searching for prostitutes offers more excitement since it's more difficult to find them out of the blue? Point here is this, they stormed a hotel yelling "Where are the prostitutes" And how they are looking for immoral acts, but I can name them a place where this happens day and night, yet it's economy is growing. This doesn't mean I am justifying bad acts in Kabul, it means take advantage of probability, and apply some hypergeometric distribution and look at it's outcome. Flexing their muscles by killing innocent people eh, whoever they were!Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

Dont lie. Taliban in Afghanistan have always claimed that they do not have any intention in meddling in neighboring countries politics or attacking their enemies beyond the borders of Afghanistan.
Yes, ideologically no Muslims recognizes borders. But almost every Islamic movement operates within a certain boundary.
You are just being lame like every other secular nationalist. I spoke to one of your leaders recently. He was trying to convince me to join his party. I told him I dont want to because I want Islamic government in Afghanistan. Now this guy is a senior figure. You know what his response was? He said: well, since Pakistan doesn't have an Islamic government, why should we? LOL
Always assuming that if there will be anything Islamic, it should be implemented first outside Afghanistan in order for secularists to accept it. Otherwise it is totally unacceptable.Originally posted by FirdousiNever talk with Afghans about politics. Are you out your mind? The Taliban openly, and vehemently opposes the Durrand line. The aforementioned alone nullifies what you just said. The Taliban had a political flavor to them as well. Don't try to falsely associate garbage with the movement. Obviously they won't meddle for no reason, but Pakistan was a special case for the Taliban. Easily commuting, and not recognizing are just two reasons to back up the no border stance.Originally posted by Shamlawar Khurasani View PostDont lie. This is what I mean when I say you don't read. There is a difference between listening and hearing, the same way there is a difference between analyzing, and skimming. I just said the above, yet you dismissed it. Now let's analyze what you just said. The Taliban, being Muslims, don't recognize a border and their boundary encompassed Pakistan, and there is a massive organized business of prostitution that occurs in broad daylight, yet it's thriving. And I rest my case, the rest that I was about to say is repetitive. It's like talking to a brick wall.Yes, ideologically no Muslims recognizes borders. But almost every Islamic movement operates within a certain boundary.
Here comes the barrage of insults, I was patiently waiting for you to show your true colors. This is your problem, as soon as you get questioned, or are asked to think a bit harder, your interlocutor becomes a fool, followed by a secular, then a nationalists, then a Kafir! You are just being lame like every other secular nationalist.
Who is my leader? What in the world are you talking about? I am not affiliated with any party, or group. I'm an independent thinker, who has no political affiliations what so ever. If you don't apologize for that lie, Allah will punish you. Lying is a sin young grasshopper. You just said you spoke to one of my leaders, but I have none as of June 22, 2012. Nonsense! I criticize both the Afghan government and Taliban for making the lives of innocent Afghans miserable.I spoke to one of your leaders recently.Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

it is an ideological obsession that has now gone beyond absurdity,.
I mean Pakistan supports the NATO war, one of the ONLY countries to give NATO/Karzai lethal supplies.
While it has been disproved time and time again, it seems that we are supposed to believe that the Afghan insurgency fights for Pakistan.
This is what Amarulleh Saleh and Karzai say while NATO gets lethal supplies from Pakistan.

Admin Khan,Originally posted by Admin Khan View PostBeyond disgusting. Many innocent civilians go there for picnics, it's sort of like what Arghandab is for Kandaharis. It's the one thing they all look forward too, in this war-torn nation. But no, let's blow it up under the pretext of Jihad while just across the line exists one of the biggest brothels in Asia, in the fort of Islam(Sarcasm for Pakistan), just behind the Badshahi Mosque. I guess these clowns have somehow justified those red-light, active, districts in Pakistan as "acceptable in their religion", yet a picnic hub with a resort is considered Holy Jihad.
There is an insurgency waged against the Pakistani state for its support for the NATO war. The objective of this insurgency is to bring Sharia to Pakistan.
Why would you expect an Afghan based insurgency to then focus on Pakistan before they achieve their goals in Afghanistan?Last edited by Shah-i-Kot; 06-23-2012, 12:01 AM.
