Remember the Indian Army and Pakistan Army are results of the British installed system.

You know when Wazir Akbar Khan slaughtered the British Army as they were retreating?

It was these Indians (Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs) who were serving them as soldiers of the British Raj.

I guess old habits of being servants never die.

No its the face of an army, what do you think that in other Islamic states armys you can post papers whith religious symbols besides your bed, I don't think so.
Army is not the representation of the society, army is strictly hierachiecal system, it must be otherwise it can not function.

It makes sense to me. Unless the manner through which he was approached was offensive, I don't see why anyone should be upset. What purpose does posting religious stickers in one's locker serve anyways?? To prove to yourself or others that you are as religious as you would like to believe??
It can't be assumed of very one to be tolerant of each other's religion. For instance, would afghans allow for Hindus working in Afghanistan to bring their idols and decorate their offices with?? I don't mind people's religion but I prefer not being in an environment as such. No offense to anyone.

I don't understand the source of all this rage. What was the Indian officer's crime? Why does a modern army need soldiers who feel compelled to wear their religion on their sleeve? The mark of a primitive culture (India included) is one which is easily roused by symbols. As the Japanese Samurai Miyamoto Mushashi pointed out, to win a war soldiers must be disciplined and calm. The Romans were like that and you never heard of them wearing poetry that glorified Jupiter. The Japanese Kamikazi pilots wore sun bandanas symbolizing Japan. They were willing to die for Japan, not Buddha. This is why Japan is where it is today, because to the Japanese Japan comes first. To many Muslim peoples Islam comes before their country. It's time to change this highly problematic ideological orientation.

Indians should take care of their own dirty HIV/STD rates where young children are abused because of lack of morals and a religion which finds it acceptable.

Wazir Akbar Khan was no friend of the Indian servants which accompanied the British Army that he and his army massacred.

What does HIV victims have to do with it?? There is no such thing as a religion accepting immorality. I don't know why everyone has to be so self centered and childish.

you are such a racist fool.
muslim countries also have abuse of children and child prostitutes.

there is some kind of mental retardation that causes people to stay stuck in the past and to be in denial. you suffer from both of these plus whatever other mental defect that causes you to be stuck in ruts, of repetition and needing to change identities on a regular basis.

muslim countries suffer from all the same immoralities as other religions and societies.
                  wakey..wakey..to the realities of 2012.

sending cadets to other countries for training is pointless. if and when the money dries up, these guys will be the first ones smart enough to realize its time to take off the uniforms and blend in or take off.

these idiot policy makers from afghanistan and every other country involved should know that investing in a legitimate peace process is a lot cheaper and better pr for them in the end. all sides need to swallow their pride, including the taliban, and end this ****.

history has shown that funding afghans to fight other afghans never pays off, at least not for afghanistan.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Its funny how Amarulleh Saleh makes threats to pick up arms when NATO leaves.

Guess where he says this from? Washington DC while sitting in a cafe.

Oh man people must be shaking in fear as he slams down his mocha latter on the table in anger!!!

All those 1o years, they indifferently oversaw the bloodshed of Pashtuns..

                            pathetic

Yeah it does exist there, but in India it is publicly accepted and even institutionalized. Its well known and they dont take action. It has been like this for as long as Hinduism has been around.

These problems of injustice are due to Hindu caste system which has less prohibitions against the mistreatment of lower caste people.

Many children are forced into prostitution in Mumbai and the police are involved in this. There are several reports on this.

Brahmin Hindu priest raped girls, and this was considered excusable for them.

it is a screwed up faith. India has one of the highest rates of AIDS/HIV due to the Bollywood culture which encourages immorality.
