and how did i do that? by telling you the facts?

you seem to be very supportive of the heavy duty racists, like yapper shad and al-hanif. do you admire hitler too?
i would think that is a degradation to not only your religion but probably to your family as well.

when are people like you going to start fixing your stupidity so eventually you can look after afghanistan and all the poor people there. you think being a dog on a forum every night is constructive?
people like you, with poverty of spirit, are just dead meat.
You, Faye, in all due respect are not a legal immigrant in Australia.

Most people in Australia are illegal immigrants that need to leave.

Its not a minor issue. The land is not theirs.

hate to have to give you the bad news but i have a skin name and am a long term member of an aboriginal tribe, by invitation. i have many very close relationships since i was 16 with aboriginal friends.

so you go and smoke some peace pipes and do sweat lodge, with the american indians whose land you are camping on, if you haven't done so already.
the aboriginals in this area are also friends of mine.

i know how much you love ,so get it together with the indian pagans in your zone, there.

If the united states is deemed to have the most professional army in the world, and if that army's men can post Taylor swift posters and crucifixes and have bible prayer groups and even tattoo religious motifs onto their own bodies what business or right do Indian trainers have to strip Afghans of the right to keep sacred materials in their barracks? So everyone else can worship as they please, keep pocket bibles etc in the worlds most elite army but afghans cannot? This is obvious Hindu chauvinism... But slaves like Hamid Karzai don't understand such simple concepts!

              1. Who says US has the most professional Army ?

              2. There's a world of difference between keeping religious symbols on your body and decorating your bunker with religious motifs. Hindus aren't allowed to keep beards whilst Muslims and Sikhs are .

              3. Even Hindus soldiers are not allowed to keep religious posters in their barracks. And AFAIK, nowhere in the Koran is it written that a Muslim must stick religious posters in his bedroom .

what's that got to do with the price of eggs? they are training in india, not america.
as well as a war with pakistan, maybe you can send the afghans to war against the indians too. i mean why stop now...just keep the afghans warring till the end of time. no skin off the noses of all the western based haters, on pf, is it?

shouldn't sprituality, love of ones god, be in the hearts and minds of those who believe, anyway?

Barakzai, I am disappointed. I have seen your posts and you do display better perspective and understanding than what you did here.

Your whole post is based on the premise the Indian Army should train its cadets as the US army does, since the latter is the best army in the world. Well they might be, but it doesnt mean all of their methods are to be aped.

The Indian Army, largely based on British practices, discourages the display the of overt religious symbols during training. This is done to prevent any groupism and to ensure everyone is treated equally. I can guarantee if a Sikh cadet would have put up the Khanda in his locker, he would have received the same treatment. This strictness on equality is more imposed during training as these are one's formative years in the army.

Once the training is completed, and the officers are attached to their respective units, based on their numbers, each unit carries religious priests. There are jobs for Muslim Imams, Sikh Granthis, Hindu Pandits and Christian Priests. Again, based on numbers, every unit will have a small worship place for every religion. If its a forward post, a gurudwara might also function inside a barrack. These priests serve the same purpose as chaplains in the US army. They are confidants of the commander and serve as spiritual/religious guides to the troops.

India has a long history of training officers from developing nations. Despite what Bangladeshis here might think, many nations without a long history of an organized modern army prefer sending their cadets to training academies in India.
